If this wasnt the only place that services my county I wouldn't go here! I used to go to metrocare when I lived in Collin county and northstar existed.. I have sat here for dann near two hours, ive seen people who came in after me be called before me, and be out before the next person who came after mw got called back. My brother has already been pulled back twice and we came in at the same time! Its beginning to look like they only care about certain people and if you aren't apart of their club or dress the part you don't exist!!!

I've been going since the 80's, at first I didn't like going, mostly because I was fighting my diagnosis. In 2012, I finally accepted that I like so many have mental illness. Upon my acceptance of this, I became more willing to let the specialist do their jobs. Since then, I have learned and am continuing to learn about my illness. I would not be where I am today had God not directed me to this facility. I give a big thumbs up to the entire staff that works here.

i went through both walk-in intakes with this facility. The second time I was given a appt which was 6 months away. So I waited 6 months went to appt, seen my new Doctor who was rude, didn't listen to a word I said. He changed my meds then said see you in 6 months. WOW!!! So a few days pass and I receive a letter in the mail that my doctor was resigning, they would continue to fill my changed meds till I got in with another doctor. So called for med refill and was switched to the receptionist to make appt with another doctor. OMG I couldn't believe they made it 8 months from then. I've been under a physicians care for 27 years in mental health and this is pretty much unheard of. If it's even legal or HIPPA approved or needless to say if local NAMI ( National Alliance Mental Illness) is aware of this. I give 0 stars!

Generally a good place, but if you are under 10 minutes late you are supposed to be seen. I wasn't 10 minutes late, but by the time the other lady who was supposed to be checking people in was done socializing, I was considered over 10 minutes late.
