I went to WellBridge to get help. It was pleasant to be there. The food was awesome. The care was awesome. I had no bad experience there. It was always positive. I loved being there and hated to leave, but I have to go out and use the skilled I learned!

They should be under investigation just like Sundance.... Horrible place.the overnight office staff is rude. I called once to ask a question about a patient they thought they hung up the phone but did not and talked about me and i could hear the conversation.. the young girl who are cna’s At this facility treat the patients like they are scum of the earth and won’t even speak to them let along listen to anything they have to say... the dr’s in this place take forever or hardly never show up to see a patient for them to be released . They give you a date of when you will be discharged but continue to try and keep you there until you throw a legal book or knowledge at them. Definitely would not recommend this place...

ATTENTION! ATTENTION! If you are considering Wellbridge Healthcare in Fort Worth, STOP!!! February, 2020 my 99 year old grandmother arrived at this place fully dressed, with puff coat and two newly purchased outfits. On her discharge day they wheeled her out in a hospital gown and yellow hospital socks. ALL of her clothes and her shoes came up missing. Kimberly Hancock told me she would handle the situation. She told me that if she couldn't find the items she would reimburse me for the items. Of course she lied to my face and ignored my phone calls. You should be ashamed of yourself! I was told that I would meet with her Psychiatrist and Therapist. I was also told I would be given the opportunity to ask questions about her meds and aftercare, NONE of this happened. Instead, discharge papers were shoved in my face and no one could answer my questions. I can not explain ALL the negligence that occurred at this facility. BEWARE!

DON’T GO HERE! First they put you in a small admitting room where they have you strip down naked & document every mole on your body. Someone walked in from their lobby and with the door open- there I am naked. Then there was a code blue, and I was left alone locked in that room for a long time. I was in that tiny room for two hours and missed dinner. My first night there was a nightmare exactly like in a horror movie. There were four different patients who yell and scream all night, and I happened to have my room near all of these “chronic” people. Then came screams of “HELP HELP“ which was a woman and there was another woman with Tourette’s. There were two men with PTSD who hated each other and the screams at night were terrifying. I had to sleep at the end of the bed on my left side so they could see my face. Someone (nurses aide?) popped in my room every 10-15 minutes all night long. They wanted to make sure I didn’t get hurt! With all the yelling and screaming, I think one of these chronic people are going to come in my room and I was so terrified, and I was just one of a dozen men and women who were subjected to this every night. I was woken up at 5:30 AM by a nurse who asked if I wanted to go have a cigarette! I had just managed to get a little sleep and I do not smoke. Breakfast is at 7:30 and the food is good. The woman cook is really good, and she rotated with a young man who could’ve done better. But who can eat when you are terrified? The two men with PTSD would have a confrontation before every single meal! It gets physical it’s not just them yelling. One of these young man was told he could go home after the psychiatrist Dr. B had to help break up the fight. One of these PTSD guys told me he wanted to cut off my arms and legs. Then after about a week there I found out that I had a social worker appointed to me. I was told who she was and she said, no I’m not your social worker. I had already missed a court date where I might have been discharged, if they would only have let me go to the court. I begged my husband to get me an attorney. He says oh no you have to cooperate. Cooperate? There I was with diarrhea and they are insisting that I take two different laxatives A day. I had a UTI When I was admitted and only needed to take one more antibiotic. But every single day they wanted me to take the antibiotic. If you don’t take it they put down that you are not cooperating! This Dr. B put me on an SSRI. He said he would discharge me when I was taking the right dose. At 100mg I had nausea and vomiting. I was also itching. I told the nurse and the doctor about my side effects but he and continued to increase the dose to 200 mg! At that point you have to do anything they say just so you can get out of there. Never never never never never never go to this place.

recently I was a patient at Wellbridge and I would like to thank the entire staff for treating me so well. they were all very kind and caring. That being said I would like to thank a few of them that really went the extra mile. Danielle, FiFi, Dorian, Elizabeth, and Dennis. And a I would like to thank Yvonne for listening to me and giving me such good advice. Yvonne is one of those people that were born to do what they do. she lifted my spirit every time I spoke with her, and for that I am so very thankful. God bless all off you. I gave 1 star, but it is too much! This hospital was awful, what I read above by the follow patients were all true!!!!! I was hospitalized there in May for 9 days. The admitting person and a second woman in that small office ordered me to strip to my under wear, and asked me to pull down my panties too. They said that they were checking for tattoos. It was so terrible!!!! Why is it important in a mental hospital if I had tattoos? I was in that small room from 9:30 pm. until 2:30 in the morning! It took so long to register me to the hospital!!!! I was left alone in that room for appr. 45 minutes, both doors were locked, I could not go out even to the bathroom. I was scared there locked in. Awful situation. I was so tired, I had a long day and night. I was transferred from another hospital and I was awaiting at that hospital for an ambulance ride from 3 pm till 9 pm. It took the ambulance to give me a ride from one hospital to the next. All I wanted to do to go to bed and sleep. Next day the reality hit in, awful hospital. We were put together with 4 people who were uncontrollable and screamed all day and all night, and the only words came out of their mouths were terrible swearing. They bothered us during the day and they kept us from sleeping all night. One man only wore a hospital gown, his bottom was showing. It was ok. with the hospital. That man was sitting on the hospital chairs every day while he was hospitalized, with his bare bottom. Those chairs were never disinfected! Another man was locked in his own mind. However, often he would run towards patients and try to hurt them. Some of the women were scarred of him, he also tried to attack me. Those 5 chronic people were very difficult for us to deal with!!!!! We were there to get better and we did not feel safe there at all. We were afraid that those people could come to our rooms and hurt us! Every 15 minutes a tech person came to our room to check on us and they pointed the flashlight into our faces. Every 15 minutes? One could be dead in a few minutes, it does not take 15 minutes !!!! Every night we were awakened by 4 am, the tech people were checking our blood pressures and vital signs. Those machines were so loud, they woke us up and kept us awake until it was our time to check our signs. A social worker was assigned to everybody, mine was not too much help for me at all. Breakfast was at 7:30, so we had to get up even though we did not get much sleep there at all. Our rooms were very uncomfortable. The beds were hard and very uncomfortable. There was no bathroom door, just a plastic attached there, it was attached by magnets only and often broke lose. When we closed that door it made a loud noise, which was very disturbing at night, as two of us were sharing most rooms. The showers were terrible in every room. There was nothing to stop the water as we showered, the water would flood the whole bathroom. To keep the whole bathroom from the flood, we put a blanket down on the floor. We were using the same blankets on the bathroom floor and in our bed to cover ourselves. No matter how those blankets were washed, it was very unsanitary! How can a hospital exist under those circumstances, it is just horrible! To open the facet at the sink was very difficult, I have never ever seen such a facet, to operate it for an elderly person was very difficult. On top of that, the water was splashing on your clothes. We could not use our own toothbrush, tooth paste and hair brushes. The hospital provided us with those, but every day when our rooms were cleaned, they collected our buckets. We had to go to the nurse's station to ask for our personal cleaning supply. It was awful! We were asked what we wanted to do with them? Brush our teeth, hair, what else? They said it was for our safety????? Two days before I was finally released from the hospital, we were told that the whole hospital were out of body soap.How that happened? The tooth brush they provided for us were terrible, it fall apart in a few days. I nearly swallowed a piece of it, It could have caused a problem in my bowels. I went down with a terrible cold appr. on my 3rd day there, I did not get any medication for it. I was coughing very badly and had a runny nose. I was complaining about my cold and cough, saw a medical doctor every day, I only got some cough suppressants, they only helped for a short period of time. When I was released from the hospital, contacted my family doctor's office and I was put on antibiotics and was ordered a covid and influenza test, also I got a chest x-ray to make certain that I did not get chest problems. What was the most terrible thing at this hospital was that the nursing director, Basil ordered to lock the doors of our rooms right after breakfast. We could not go back to go to the bathroom after breakfast, could not brush our teeth. It was a new thing that he ordered, he said that it was for our benefit, so we could not go back and stay in our beds for a long period of me of the day. This was very hard on every one of us! It was bad enough to share a bathroom with another patient, but to have yourself lock out completely from your room and bathroom, it was just horrible! We were forced to use 2 (two) bathrooms in the common area that we patients shared. Those two bathrooms were very dirty when first we started to use, we had to ask the tech people to clean them, put toilet papers and soap there, also they had no paper towels. Also, we repeatedly had to ask the tech people to have those bathrooms clean after so many people used them right after each other! And this was during covid infections!!!! The staff wore masks most of the time, we, patients did not wear masks. That is how I got my terrible cold, from which I just recovered! We were forced to sit on uncomfortable chairs for 12-13 hours a day, and we were sore all over. Especially us, older people! I have pains in my bottom on my right and left side from the sitting for a prolonged period of time. I am having treatments for my pain by my doctor. On the day I was released from the hospital, all the washrooms were locked down, the ones in our rooms, and also those 2 washrooms that were in the common area. Many people were on laxatives at the hospital, had diarrhea and were locked out of the bathrooms! I was on stool softeners too, and was uncomfortable to use a bathroom that were shared with so many patient! We were about 17 patients there, also from the other wing many people came over for therapy and to see their doctors, they also used those 2 washrooms in our common area. On my last day there at Wellbridge Hospital, we had to get a tech person to open the washroom for us. A woman was throwing up in one of those bathroom, I had to ask the tech person to clean up after her. We were not there to worry how to make it on time to the toilet, we were not there to worry if we have enough toilet paper in the washroom, we were beging them to put there an extra roll. I was told by one of the tech people that was not possible, just go there to the nurse's station when we run low.??? Two of us were using the same roll, which was bad enough during covid. The cleaners did not bother to put the toilet papers in its proper holder, the roll often ended on the floor because there was no proper place to put them. Again, during pandemic it is unacceptable!! We were worried that we could get a terrible infection from those toilets and from the fact that so many people shared them!!!! They never were cleaned right after a person used them. Only when we reported them dirty were cleaned. I am diabetic, yet I never got diabetic food while I was there. A few times after a lot of complaints, my name was on the plastic container and marked diabetic food. I looked around, and everyone of us was having the same food. I was told by my doctor at this hospital to watch my diet, how could have I done that when I did not get diabetic food? Also, as a diabetic person, my blood sugar should have been checked twice a day, it was not done. When I walked out of the hospital, my husband was waiting at the front door. The Director of Nursing, Basil was standing there. I told him that I never once got diabetic food there, he said that most Americans eat sweets???? How can it comfort me? I asked many times to have plain cereals instead of sugary ones, I was told they did not have any. I also asked for oatmeal at meal times, they did not have any I was told. We had to go to the nurse's station for every cup of water we needed. Often the patient hub was empty and we had to flag down someone to speak to. Often we did not have any snacks for diabetics, only sweet ones. Often there were not many snack around for us. The nursing director had a staff meeting at the nurse's station. At those times, we were all neglected there, awaiting for that very minimal things that we got there. To have our drinks that way was very uncomfortable and not safe! There were 2 large water containers, they were flavored with herbs and fruits. We don't know how those containers were cleaned after the water was used by us. There was another plain water container, it was more appealing then those two flavored water containers. When the water was running low the staff pushed the container down so the rest of the water could be used up. Terrible! I never saw anything like that in my life! Especially in a hospital. One day, the director of nursing, Basil had a t-shirt on him, written on it: "Mental help is here." Thanks but no thanks, such mental help!!!! It was not help, it was torture. I am still recovering from my injuries I suffered at Wellbridge Hospital, which I re-named: Badbridge Hospital. I am surprised to see a few formal patients to write good things about their stay there. They also gave this hospital 5 stars. I wonder, who they are? Relatives of the hospital? Friends? The nurses were all nice, they worked very hard. Most of the tech people were nice too. Some of the staff were very impatient with us, unprofessional. I know it was not easy to deal with patients at a mental hospital, those 5-6 people who were chronic people, were very difficult to control by the staff. But, we were there to get better, we paid good money for our stay, price of a 5 star hotel! And what service we got for it? I would like to have answers from the hospital management why were we under these circumstances in the hospital? The director of nurses told me when I complained about our rooms, our bathrooms, the uncomfortable chairs they made us to sit for prolonged period of time, he said that he has good news for me: they are going to renovate the bathrooms and they plan to order new furniture. I told him that is not any help for me right that time!! My letter is long, so is my complaints. My follow poor patients were begging me to complain, as they learned that I stand up for my rights. So I am doing it for them and for me. On my first day at the hospital, my husband was called by your business office. A woman named Kendrea at 817-386-1531 asked my husband to go to the hospital early and visit her at her office, to pay our copay. My husband asked her to give him my phone number at the hospital, as he did not hear from me since I was admitted there. He called several time the hospital at night of my admittance there, I was not given the message. Kendrea called us again and again, about 4 times, demanding payment. I told her I did not receive any bill from the hospital. I complained about her to my insurance company, they called this woman many times on my behalf, she was never at her desk. I never ever was asked to pay a bill without billing me first. With so many fraud calls, communications, one has to be very careful.

I already wrote a complaint letter about Wellbridge Hospital in Fort Worth. My letter is right above there. I was hospitalized there in May for 9 days. It was the worst 9 days in my life, I did not think that I would get out of there alive!!!! I wrote complaint letter directly to Wellbridge Hospital on their website. I got an automatic reply from the system that Wellbridge Hospital will get back to me. Well, they never did, so now I am going to complain everywhere about them! They should be investigated for treating patients the way we were during pandemic! Terrible hospital, do not go there.

My mom died of a head bleed because of their incompetence. She was 79 and a fall risk. She fell twice under their care. The 1st time she fractured her foot. The 2nd fall resulted in a head bleed and she DIED 10 days later.

I wrote to complaints they are right above this letter, Up to date, I have not received any reply to my complaints. However, today, November 9, 21, I received a telephone call from a woman who said that she was from Wellbridge Hospital. She asked me to pay my bill. I told her that up to now, I have not received any reply to my complaints to the hospital about my 9 day stay there. Also, up to this day, I have not received any bill from Wellbridge. I told her I was not paying them until I receive their bill. She asked me to confirm my address that they had on file for them. She told me that they have my home address in Fort Worth, instead of Arlington, probably that is why I did not get their bill. It is strange, as I gave them the correct information of my address. I had to give at least one star to this hospital, they don't deserve any stars.
