They could close. The armpit of mental health care. Staff in Bradenton, FL are uncaring, unfriendly, and incompetent, especially Janet Taylor, psychiatrist from hell. Disrespectful, cold as ice, mean, and denied me my medication that she prescribed. She screwed up over 3 prescriptions which could have adversely affected my health. You really scraped the bottom of the barrel for this douchbag. She's a quack.

There are no words that could possible do this horrific establishment and "providers" justice. They do not listen to family or caregivers. I have a special needs uncle who is non verbal and who has been on the same meds and stable doses for some time. They still see him 4x/year. For what? To bill Medicare for a refill of something that is used only for chemical restraint? It is odd that my uncle was never on antipsychotics in the 30 years he lived with his mom until he was placed in a home for the special needs?

Centerstone lacks a stable roster of mental health professionals. I’ve been goin there for years and have had to change therapists and doctors over 7 or 8 times because the employees got better paying jobs elsewhere and were not happy there. I’ve had at least one provider there who was interested in punishing me and threatening to “change all of “ my “medicines” because of some moral indiscretions I made over 20 years ago as a clueless teenager; they were not at all interested in truly helping me deal with my problems as most mental health professionals focus on; but not this person. ????. There have been some really good people there but some really bad ones too. The quality of the care is not as good as you will get at Vanderbilt or many private therapists and doctors but they are definitely better than the mental health co-op. Use discretion when going with this company.

Worse experience with a mental health facility in my life. HEARTLESS, not an ounce of compassion or competence in this entire facility, (Bradenton, FL.) Most excruciating experience I have ever experienced in my life. You are treated like a criminal and I HAVE insurance. Stay Far Away !!!!!

This facility does not provide good patient care. It took them for days to refill a prescription for my child. The office staff is very rude. I get the filling they are more concerned with getting a paycheck than providing excellent patient care. Do the not understand they would not have revenue if it wasn’t for the patients. You would think they would have more compassion. We will be finding another provider.

Completely unprofessional! All calls go to voice mail for you to be called back. I have called multiple times in the past 2 weeks and they won't call me back. This is not for a first time appointment either. It shows how little the company cares about their clientele. This is not a reflection of the doctors or their concern as they remain to be professional, while Centerstone is not. This is a far fall from the once caring facility that Centerstone once was. Bloomington Indiana's Centerstone is a disgrace to mental healthcare facilities!

I thank God for this place. The councilor I have is Diana and she is pretty awesome. I can tell she really cares. I don't know what I would do without her. And I'm really amazed about Chris, I talked to him one time (very easy to talk to) and he never forgot me, Every time he sees me he always says Hi Paula. They make me feel like I'm important. I always felt alone until I started going there. They were there when everyone else turned me away. And the staff is pretty awesome too. Thank You Centerstone in Alton, Illinois for everything you do.

I called in July asking for an appointment and was told the earliest new patient appointment for a doctor was Sept 12th. Hurricane Irma went through a few days before, so the office left a recording on the 12th saying they were closed. The next day, I called to reschedule. The receptionist said they had an appointment available the following Wednesday with Dr. Hamblin, so I was relieved I didn't have to wait another 2 months. About an hour later, I received a call from the doctor I was supposed to see on Tuesday (Dr. Reuter), letting me know that I could get an appointment with someone that day at a different office location. I called back and made the appointment, which was with Dr. Whitman. The receptionist told me he would cancel the Hamblin appointment since I was seeing Whitman that day. He told me to show up 30 minutes early to fill out new patient paperwork.

Centerstone, I am disappointed. It shouldn't be this hard. My husband decided to change doctors when his current doctor stopped taking his insurance. So I found Centerstone and called. I called twice to get information and decided to make an appointment for him. The person on the phone transferred me to your Call Center where I was on hold at least 10 minutes. Yes, I know I could have hung up and called later, but it was important to me to make the appointment.

Horrible. Just posted a review on Google. #uncaring #unprofessional Waste of time. It's better to not even try to get help then get "help" from these guys. They try to build a bond with a child, then they just dismiss her and cause further setbacks.
