I’ve been going here since 2012. The staff is very friendly. I could go months without seeing them, and they always remember my name and ask how I’ve been. My case manager, Justin, has been a tremendous help to me. I’ve gone through a rough couple of years personally and financially. He’s gone above and beyond to help me. I was without transportation, and he would visit me from time to time to see how I was doing. He even helped me get a grant to help with my electric/water bill. I see Dr. Karwan for my psyche meds. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to listen to my needs. If I have a problem with a med, he always presents me with multiple options and explains the pros and cons of each. He then gives me the option of which course to take, vs just prescribing me something without my input. My talk therapist is unfortunately no longer there, but she was very helpful as well. I would definitely recommend Cherokee for anyone needing help with their mental health.

The staff has always been super friendly and kind. I wasnt able to find the right anxiety meds to help me ever but they were able to find one that works.

I went there for help I didn’t get the help I needed they kept prescribing these medications for depression that kept making me sick they wouldn’t listen to me. Long story short they are not interested in helping you that kept saying they were going to get me on safety net but they still keep sending me bills for not helping me. If you’re looking for someone to listen to you about the way you need to be helped and cared for this is not the place to go

This location is wheelchair accessible. Office is clean, staff is friendly. They are understaffed for therapists. You may have to wait 3-4 in between appointments for therapy. The time I was there, I was switched from one therapist to another. The last therapist I was seeing I didn’t feel He was much help. When I would talk his mind seemed “out to lunch” Charlene Frazier, the medication provider. She is a Nurse Practitioner. I would explain my symptoms. Her response was “I feel like that too” She seemed very depressed. Her office is dark and gloomy. She had me on 5 different medications. I felt like I was in a fog. I’m no longer seeing Cherokee Health. I changed over to Helen Ross McNabb. I take 2 meds. I don’t feel like I’m walking around in a fog. My therapist sees me regular every two weeks. It’s a better place. The doctor there is very upbeat. His office is bright! You don’t feel like you’re walking into a cave.

I was very shy at first but felt at home they had made my bed with fresh clean Blankets and sheets also the people living in the house made me a welcome thing with all there names on my door it was the warmest welcome I’ve ever experienced out of the many homes I’ve been in in my life.
