Was an okay place to go until I showed up one day with an appointment made over the phone and two people at front desk could not find my appointment, but couldn’t find me as a client there (called me by wrong name four times thinking they found me). I called phone number again for scheduling and they said I was on schedule, so I walked back in and a lady checked me in only to be called back by a supervisor and be told they put me with the wrong type of doctor. It’s clear the management structure of this company for appointments is messed up.

Called in 2 weeks ago to get my medical information for my disability. They will not fill out my paperwork because I haven\'t been there since may. I\'m not needing new paperwork just paperwork saying what she said or what she suggested when I was there they are refusing to give me that information even though the specialist has given me paperwork until October. So I\'ll just have to get an attorney involved. This is the reason I stopped going because all the wanted to do was asked my about finding another job. When your going through depression and anxiety DOESNT MATTER WHAT JOB YOU GO TO UNTIL THE ROOT ISSUES IS RESOLVED YOU WILL STILL HAVE THE SAME EFFECTS BUT I DONT SUGGESTED ANYONE USING THIS LOCATION....

I did not understand the terrible reviews on here. until my insurance changed and, I was assigned a new therapist BRENDA . My old therapist was wonderful. I could talk freely and openly to her . I am gay, I had my 2nd session with Brenda. I was telling her about issues with my sex addiction. I was not graphic just started talking about it. She stops me and says \" I DONT WANT TO HEAR THIS\". I have never had aa therapist, phycologist or physiatrist say that to me. I called the manager and have not heard back. If any one has a similar experience please let The A.C.L.U. know I have.

I love coming to Centerstone for mental health issues. Due to the nature of being a non-profit clinic and helping so many folks, it can sometimes be unforgiving when you are running late. However, I have my therapists direct line so if I am running late I call him and tell him directly. That’s better than calling the front desk. I have never had a bad experience here, and several of my friends and I go here for therapy and medications. There are few places that will take on new clients always and will help anyone of any socioeconomic background.

I have only called Centerstone Crisis call line. During a time when I was waiting on a shunt to be installed in my head and had dementia, Centerstone put me on a call contract to only call once a day. They didn\'t seem to get that with the dementia from the NPH, I couldn\'t even GET what they meant let alone respond. Centerstone is apathetic, uncaring and only knows how to use cookie cutter models. Stay far away from these people. They will mess you up and THEY DON\'T CARE either. As long as it\'s their way or the highway, they\'re good. Don\'t be a real person with individual needs around this bunch though. It will not happen.

I love it there, I’ve had good experiences but one day I didn’t. I let it go but that day had me break down a little. I was runnng late, appointment was at 11:45. I called to let them know that I will probably be 5 or so minutes late. I believe I was 8 minutes late and I had to be rescheduled. It was a 30 minute meeting appointment but still, where was the 15 minute grace period? But I am thankful and hopefully next time, traffic will be more kind.

We are new to the area and were needing to get our son established at a new mental health facility to continue his medication from the previous place back home. The first med appointment we were supposed to have didn\'t happen because we were 10 mins late (we drove from Clarksville and were caught behind a wreck). By this time our son had been without his medication for almost 3 months and he was needing refills asap. But, they got us in for an appointment 2 weeks later. When we finally had his appointment I was caught off guard at the fact that the psychiatrist wanted to take our son off ALL of his medication but Adderal, and then his dosage was doubled. Trusting her, I did what she said. That was the worst mistake I could have made. Our son had cold sweats, racing heartrate, didn\'t sleep for almost a week, etc. When we called to try to get him back in to be reevaluated we never heard from Centerstone again. We were simply ignored. Now, our son is going on 5 months with no medication while we wait for an appointment with a different provider (which only God knows when that will be). I\'m beyond disappointed and angry that our 6 year old son wasn\'t worth their concern to pick the phone up and call to figure out what was going on and I wish my concerns about his mental health would have been listened to.

This location offers all kinds of community physical & mental health services, including counseling, psychiatry/med mgmt, nutrition counseling, and much, much more that I\'m not familiar with simply bc I haven\'t taken advantage of, and/or didn\'t need, these additional services. Since they are community-based, they operate on a SLIDING-SCALE fee system, which means that if you are unemployed or underemployed, or simply far too underpaid given your expenses, you likely won\'t have to pay anything to see the professionals here. &If you do have to pay, it will be according to what you can reasonably afford, even if that means $5/visit. I\'ve found that getting an initial, first-time appt here was both easy & fast: it only took a 5-10min phone call to setup an appt & they had openings as soon as a mere 2 days from the date I called. While the front desk people at this location can be a bit hit-or-miss when it comes to getting correct or any information abt med records, info releases, and really anything OTHER than checking you in, making/cancelling/rescheduling appts, I\'ve found that the counselors themselves here have just abt any information you might need & can help you with these things if you simply ask them, instead of going to the front desk abt it. Your experience here, like with most counseling places, will likely depend on WHO you end up seeing....but I would suggest that if you find you don\'t mesh well with whoever you start out with, just request to start seeing someone different. It\'s of no real benefit to keep going if you don\'t get along with/work well with or trust your counselor. I would personally highly recommend Marcea (pronounced: MAR-SEE-UH) for counseling; she\'s truly wonderful, very understanding and easy to talk to & quite helpful, not just with counseling, but also with letting you know abt certain resources in the community here that may be able to help out with certain things if you are currently on hard times financially. If you need to see a psychiatrist, whether it be just once for an eval. or regularly for med mgmt & such, I would recommend Dr. Elizabeth Rodgers for the exact same reasons I listed for Marcea.

Finally found a Center Stone near me, as I had just moved to Nashville. The manager called and while we was talking, she told me I won\'t get Adderall which I have taken since I was in school which leads me to believe that she read my private information which is a violation of HIPPA. I am filing a complaint with HIPPA asap. You ma\'am are an employee, not a doctor!
