Constant fights, staff treat you horribly, education is a joke, you only have 1 5min phone call a week, doctors don’t listen to anyone, therapist are ok, most staff don’t care about you getting better in there, bad meals, hardly any rec time, sit in a day room all day, the 7 challenges drug program is really the only good thing about this place. Don’t recommend this place at all this is disappointing I was very let down by this place

I would give it ZERO stars if that was an option. Child sent there by DCS and it was the worst experience of our life. At one point we were told we could not visit our teen because he wasn’t making enough progress. Memphis Recovery Center is a much better option.

I sent my daughter here for clinical/ residential observation because she was on a very low dose of medicine and had a relapse of severe depression/anxiety. I will say this the routine they put the kids through is helpful in providing structure but thats all the positive words i have to say about this place. The staff cross lines between medical professionals to making parental decisions. The director had to take on my daughters therapy case because for the entire 1st month her therapy treatment plan was botched. The assigned therapist week one failed to give my daughter her change of clothes then the following weeks she was absent therefore postponing the treatment yet billing the insurance company. 1st Day of visitation I had to tell Lisa a staff member to refrain from calling my daughter a nut. She apologized and we moved forward. Now the director she was helpful in getting amirah her things and ensuring that my wishes of receiving a phone call before increasing dosages were granted. However the admissions director had my daughter in there for 49 days without ever giving her pass to visit with her family outside the facility because my daughter wanted to talk on the phone upon release. The level of pettiness of staff members is the reason that children stay in the facility longer than is necessary. Once i realized what the admissions director was doing I immediately pulled my daughter out of compass against there medical advice because it became clear that it was all about the money. Despite me stating that I wanted her discharged from voluntary treatment because we were happy with her medication results and would continue her treatment with outpatient services at home; The admission director stated that the staff felt that my daughter wasn't even ready to leave the facility for a pass let alone discharge and she tried to change her original diagnosis from bipolar to schizoaffective meaning everything my daughter says couldnt be trusted because in her mind everyone is out to get her. To me thats just setting my child up to be mistreated and not be believed. Well after pulling her out my daughter hasn't had any tantrums from her condition. So how professional or accurate is their opinion, is up for debate. This is not the facility to send your child too for medication changes and observations. We found that out the hard way. This place is for children who have behavioral problems that have landed them in trouble with the law. Im not talking teenage rebellion of talking on the phone when your not supposed to (which is my daughters main behavioral agitator) but Im talking criminal charges. And to add, all of the staff has questioned why my daughter was even there because she gave them no problems. She didnt like Lakeside when she had her 1st psychotic break so we had to try something different. Don't go here if your looking for help to get your child's mental disorder under control. And to add insult to injury because I was forced to discharge her against medical advice she doesnt even have her medication to help her anxiety or depression.

This place should definitely be investigated!!! I have a close friend whose daughter is at here and has been for over 3 months. She worked hard to improve in all areas. She has done everything they have asked her to do. She worked her way up to the the highest level before going home. One day out of the blue they took her personal things that she had earned the right to. Her therapist refused to tell her what she did wrong. When her mom asked what she had done, the therapist refused to answer. The following week all of the privileges her daughter had earned were taken. My friend tried to get help through the patient advocate, but did no good. They do not have her care in mind only keeping her there. When the supervisor called back, she took up for the therapist and claimed it was the patients fault. It is unreal how this place operates. My friend asked to change therapist and they absolutely refuse to do so. They are now using the court system to keep her from signing her out. This is a horrible place to be. The staff is very inconsistent with rules and who follows them. They do not like it when the parents are involved at all. They will do everything possible to keep them from being involved. They talk about respect but they do not respect the kids or their feelings.They dont even follow their own rule book when it comes to patients' rights. This place is worse than a jail. They give them pencils and other things just so they can document them later for having them and take valuable privileges they have earned. They call those things contraband. This place wont even discuss a potential release date. So much for having the patients' best interest at heart. I would not recommend this place.

I honestly have no clue why someone would send their child to this location. I have personally been here and it is a living Hell. NEVER send your child here. I got attacked just for reading the BIBLE! This place is just about as ghetto as it gets. You have to be on a certain level just to be able to use your own tooth brush...The therapist are no help at all and the place is infested with bugs and lice. You only have 10 mins to take a shower, and get ready in the morning. And your lucky if you have warm water and good water pressure. Most girls are "Gay for the stay". The food is horrible and is given in tiny portions. If the Pastor in Chapel doesn't like the way you behave, you get kicked out and are NEVER allowed back in. Their "school" is crossword puzzles and they advertise all these recreational activities that are either false or broken, such as the wii or TV. I know that if I am going to send my child somewhere long term, it sure will not be here.

This place is not what you would call a place to help this place litterally gave me more mental issues to deal with after leaving. Brief description is like a prison. Parents if you want to help your children this is not the place to go.

My son is in this place now and when I called to get the number to file a complaint I just got the run around, when my husband and I went to visit our son a couple of weeks ago, there were cop cars and an ambulance outside of the building, when the officers asked if anyone would be accompanying the kid to the hospital one of the workers said that the CEO Jeremy Pitzer told them not to go. This place is horrible and should be investigated they are running a shady operation.

I hope to God people read these reviews before sending their child here. I was here for three months. My first therapist left about halfway through my stay and I got a new therapist. Her name was Sandy. She was very helpful, and some of the nurses and staff were very friendly to me, but these are the only good things I have to say about it. I went outside a total of two times. I woke up every single morning dreading life. I have never been so distraught for such a long time in my whole life. The anxiety was constant. My father spoke with my psychiatrist on several occasions and he appeared to know exactly what he was doing. However, in actuality, he had taken me off of my Effexor cold turkey and caused some of the worst withdrawal symptoms of my life. He put me on an ungodly amount of medications and the nurse, Megan, told me that all these medications were the only things keeping me stable. However as soon as I got out my home doctor set it straight and put me on 1 pill of a small dose instead of 6 medium-large doses. I was not naturally instensely anxious, unstable and suicidal. That place made me that way.

Just to preface this: I understand that some people do not have a choice in going to this place, but if you do have any sort of part in the decision, please take this reviews into serious consideration. If your child or you has no option, do not worry. It is awful, but more than likely, you will survive it. This is also just my experience. Things may be different for other people and of course everything is subjective, BUT the consensus that was come to within the people who stayed there with me was that it was pretty much like prison. *This is going to be an extremely in-depth analysis of what Compass was like and how things worked (during my time there). **THIS IS GOING TO BE VERY LONG, but I have divided it into sections for it to be more digestible. I swear this will be worth reading though! ***I ALSO HAVE A SUMMARY AT THE BOTTOM IF THIS IS TOO LONG FOR YOU TO READ!! Okay, so I stayed here for roughly six months. From what I saw there, the typical stay was around 4 or 5 months, but there were definitely people there that stayed there for a shorter amount of time. It all depends on your treatment. From my understanding, the only way to get out of Compass is to get discharged by the staff or go against medical advice (getting AMA'd). If you go against medical advice, more than likely, DCS will get involved (I don't know if that is absolutely true, but that is what staff told me). This may not still be true still because I haven't been in there for a while, but this is basically what you did in day for me: you would wake up around 6am and go to bed around 6pm. In the morning, you took a shower, but you could only be in the bathroom for a total of about 15 minutes. You have meds 3 times a day: morning, noon, and night. Most people are not prescribed medicines for all of those times, but I was. If for some reason you need to take medication at other times of the day (such as antibiotics or insulin, as long as the nurses know, they usually do a pretty decent job about getting it to you). You do this thing called process group and it's basically like group therapy, but you don't all talk together, it's kind of more like a lecture and sometimes they do games. They also have this thing called Seven Challenges that some people do instead of process group (it's at the same time). This group is for people who struggle with substance issues. Depending on what time of year it is, you might do school. Either way, you will more than likely go to a classroom even if there is not school at that time because they have "enrichment." I will go over the education system later, but for now that's all I will say. Most people will have therapy two times a week: individual therapy (around an hour) and family therapy (around 45 minutes). For some people, this may be different due to family circumstances, but that is the most typical thing. They also offer some other forms of therapy, but you have to qualify for it and it is usually in small groups. They also didn't offer a lot of them at the time due to COVID-19 precautions. I'm sure that might have changed a bit though as circumstances are a bit different now. You are guaranteed a 30 minute visitation every week to see your family (this was on Zoom when I was there because of COVID-19, but before that I was told that it was in-person and the procedure was a lot different). You also have a 5 minute phone calls, but you can work up to longer ones (I will explain all of that later). Depending on the weather, you might be able to go outside, but you have to have your shoes. You also have to have your shoes to go to the MPR (Multi-Purpose Room), which is essentially a gym, but it doesn't have a basketball hoop or anything of that nature, it's pretty much just a room with carpet in it, you can't really do anything in there). To get your shoes, your treatment team (therapists, doctors, just staff in general) decides when it's appropriate. It mostly depends on your behavior and past history with running away and stuff, but I honestly have no idea how they decide it because sometimes it doesn't seem to have a pattern. Everyone starts out on EP (Elopement Precaution), and they wear grippy socks and aren't allowed to go outside the building except for on certain occasions. Once you get your shoes (which usually takes people about a month, but they can stay on it A LOT longer or a little shorter), nobody is allowed to have laces. They will take your laces out and they will put zip ties in them to hold them in place. You can also have slip-on shoes sometimes. If your child or you needs new shoes, they pretty much only accept Walmart shoes, so keep that in mind. My shoes were literally falling apart and my mom sent me new ones and they wouldn't let me have them cause they were Vans. For the most part, whatever shoes you bring in when you're admitted will be accepted if that's all you have. You also do something called Recreational Therapy, which is pretty much just drawing and stuff. You do that everyday. They also have other things you do. The schedule is much different on the weekends (you pretty much do nothing all day, but you do get to sleep in--- usually you sleep about 12 hours, but on the weekends it's about 13 or 14). But most of the activities are like reading or games (which was not actually fun for me because pretty much everyone would get mad every single time we did it cause of sharing issues and just how competitive people are--- but keep in mind that was just my group and the atmosphere might be very different when your child goes there or you go there). It was very very very boring. Education: this is probably the section I am most passionate about. In short, their education department is HORRIBLE. If you or your child needs advanced coursework or needs help in that area. DO NOT, I mean, DO NOT send them here if you have a choice. I have been in honors/AP classes my entire life and it was honestly just a terrible adjustment. We literally did nothing. The most I learned there was how to write a check and we were on that subject for at least two months. Like, I'm not even kidding. That was the entire lesson plan for about two straight months. You have different classes and stuff (it depends on what team you're on, I'll touch on that later). But for the most part, you do absolutely nothing. I was there during the Summer as well as when school started. In the Summer, I had failed a couple of my courses at my school, so I needed to get caught up there and they literally promised they would help me, but they did not even give me any material. The only thing we did was watch wildlife documentaries and just random busywork. Then, when school started, I was super excited cause I love learning and school and I thought I would actually be doing something. But nope. It took forever for them to even start up school, and when they did, it was this extremely difficult to navigate website that had a bunch of information on about 20 or so slides and then you had to take a quiz on it that had 5 questions on it and you couldn't move forward until you got like 4/5 right. Which seems easy, but they weren't assessing you on what you actually learned, they were assessing you on random little facts that literally don't even matter. So the only way to pass them was to write every single word down from the lesson. I expressed my concerns to my therapist and pretty much every teacher and the people who were the department heads or whatever and they did not do anything about it. They did offer tutoring (the tutor they had when I was there is an extremely amazing person), but you had to ask someone that was difficult to reach out to. And even if you did get tutoring, they only had one tutor and that tutor pretty much held up the entire department. She was so amazing, but they had her doing so many responsibilities that she pretty much couldn't help anyone. And even after going through like 6 and a half months of that, even with straight A's, they did not give me credit for it. Not because I didn't earn credit, but because they literally did not send a transcript to my school. They sent a REPORT CARD. We contacted them, but they still didn't do anything, so I had to retake all of the courses. Which, on one hand, is a good thing cause I did not learn anything. But on the other hand, sucks because I was a senior and I could've only taken a few classes, but I had to retake them because of them and it was so very difficult to adjust to because we did absolutely nothing at Compass... and then all of a sudden I had all of this work doing stuff I didn't understand because they didn't teach me anything. Not to mention, the teachers were honestly just rude and did not really know how to do their job. In one of the classes, I pretty much had to teach the class myself because the teacher did not know what he was talking about, or at least how to teach it. I was the only one who knew how to do it because I had covered that material before. And it was literally just linear graphing. I had to help an ENTIRE CLASS learn how to graph using slope because he couldn't do it for himself. That's honestly just ridiculous. I'm pretty sure I learned how to do that in like the 7th or 8th grade. I also witnessed him giving people just straight out incorrect information. One time, I asked one of the teachers a question and they asked the rest of they class if they understood it and since no one else said they did, she didn't answer my question. I have never in my entire life experience education that was as awful as that was. The big thing was is I expressed these issues to them on multiple occasions and they did not do one single thing about it (at least anything that made a real difference). Moving on to the level system: as I mentioned before, you can earn more privileges (such as more phone calls). This is based on the level system. Everyone starts out on Entry (no extra privileges). Then, you can progress to Discovery, then Acceptance, then Victory. On each level, you gradually get more privileges. Some things you can get are: more phone calls/more time on phone calls, chips, outings, etc.. You can also work up to having your own hygiene products. When I was there, no one could have their own hygiene products except for those on Victory. And, I'm gonna be completely honest here, it is very difficult to get onto Victory for most people. How it works is: everybody has documents that the MHT's (Mental Health Techs) has with them 24/7. One of them records where you are and ensuring that you are in fact in the sight of the staff. They check on that every 15 minutes, unless you are have a precaution that says they need to check it every 5 minutes. This sheet has like your basic info on it and stuff the staff should pay attention to (I'm pretty sure, but we weren't allowed to look at them, even our own). The other sheet was one where they could mark all of the points you have for the day. Basically, throughout the day, they gave you points for how well you were doing. And if you did something bad or anything out of the blue (it could be positive), they will mark it down. If you don't get a certain amount of points or do something bad, the next day they will put you on reflection. If you are on reflection, you lose your privileges for the day that was associated with your level. It also restarts your count. In order to level up, you need to go 5 days without being on reflection and then on the 6th day you will level up. They can also put you on a special program that would be different from those requirements, but that was not very common during my stay. Normally, the minimum is 5 days. Your therapist can choose to not level you up if they feel like you don't deserve it. If you do something really bad, you can get dropped from your level, either to the one below it, or all the way back to Entry. It really depends on what you do. The level system is very nerve-wracking and I get what they were trying to do by rewarding people, but it was honestly just very stressful cause it put everyone in competition with each other and it also kind of felt like you needed to be perfect to me. Confidentiality: Okay, so I have never been to another residential facility, but I have been to acute care a lot (it's where you stay at a facility, but only for about a week or little longer if you need it). I have also heard a lot about other facilities because of how often I have been hospitalized. Every other facility I have been to has made every possible measure to protect that your last name will be kept a secret. Compass literally does not even care about that. The first day I got there, someone asked my last name and I was so confused because I've never been able to share that info before. But at Compass, they literally made you walk in line in alphabetical order by your last name. Yes, they tried to keep your papers private (you would get in trouble for looking), but your last name is just completely out there in the open. I personally feel like that is a huge violation of privacy because people can very easily find out your social media or school or pretty much anything with your last name, especially if your name is not very common. Safety: I will say, this place is very good at keeping people in the building. In my entire stay there, I only heard of two people trying to run away. And neither of them made it very far. They have pretty much everything locked up. Mostly everything is locked up by key and it would be really difficult to steal them. Especially because if you actually stole them, there would be too many to sift through that you probably couldn't even get through one door without getting in a hold. At the front doors though, you have to put in a pin number or a card ID. But like, you are monitored pretty much all of the time, so there is no way someone would be able to get away with that without someone seeing them in like two seconds. So it is definitely a secure place. In terms of protecting someone of self-harm, it's pretty okay. No patient has access to like anything at all that could remotely hurt them. The only things you are allowed to have as a patient are: clothes, your coping skills card (which has to be on you at all times), and your shoes/EP socks. If you have anything else on you, it is considered contraband and you will be dropped to Entry automatically. The only other things you can have are a small blanket and up to two photos, but those have to stay in your room. You cannot have a journal or a pencil or marker or literally anything. Even in school, you can't have a full blown pencil or pen, the only thing you can have is a golf pencil, and they don't give you erasers. They count the golf pencils and if any of them go missing, they have to search the room (and sometimes people) and hold all transitions and things of that nature. If anyone shows signs that they might hurt themselves with a pencil or something, they will put you on pencil restriction. On that, you literally can't write or anything and it absolutely sucks cause most of the time you can't participate in RT (Recreational Therapy) either. Food: the food was okay. A lot of people said it was bad or they didn't get enough, but I will say that for me that wasn't the case. I was on a low-fat diet, so I didn't get as much as other people and I was still fine. HOWEVER, they do not give you enough water. Like, at all. Part of this was because of COVID-19, as they couldn't have a water fountain anymore, but still. You could only have like 3 cups of water a day and a little when you were getting your meds. This was absolutely awful for people on UR (Unit Restriction--- you can't leave the unit to go to the cafeteria or anything really). They did not get any water except for during meds. You are allowed to ask for water during bathroom breaks, but you pretty much never get bathroom breaks and even if you do ask about water, they usually don't bring you any. Bathroom Breaks: Speaking of bathroom breaks! This was not the best either. You got bathroom breaks around 4 times a day. Which seems like enough to some people, I guess. But the problem is the time. You went to the bathroom around after every meal. This was all good for breakfast, but when you got to lunch, it was difficult because that was when you could actually have a big cup of water and it takes time to process it. So, if you're going immediately after lunch, it's not going to do anything. And if you ask to go to the bathroom, say, an hour later, you will get written up because it was too close to the time you went to the bathroom earlier. You cannot go to the bathroom unless your entire team goes for the majority of the time. Most of the time, you all don't have to pee at the same time and it makes people really upset because it's kind of an inconvenience. There is not one shared bathroom or a bathroom with stalls. You all have to go to your rooms and the staff will have to individually open all of the doors. And most of the time that takes forever and you also have to do the other hall. So it sucks. If you really need to go and no one else goes, you can ask for an emergency hygiene, but you can get written up for that as well. Teams: I did say I would elaborate on this earlier, so here it is. It's pretty simple, but the patients are divided into teams. This is just to divide everyone up so the staff can take of you more easily and to also separate people if they are having problems with each other. They switch up the teams fairly frequently, especially if a certain team is acting up. Holds: if you're worried about your child getting put in a hold or you getting put in a hold, I will say, that is not very common. When someone does get put in a hold, they do it well and pretty quickly. I've never seen anyone get injured because of it. They also don't sedate you ("booty juice" you) to my knowledge. During my stay, there wasn't a ton of fights, but there most certainly was a lot of drama. But even when there were fights, holds weren't used very often because it rarely escalated to that point and staff responded quickly if it did. Some people said there were a lot of fights, but there was one I went to where people were sedated/put in holds almost everyday. It was not nearly as bad as that. LGBTQIA+ friendly?: I would say somewhat so. If you or your child (whoever is going there) is transgender. DO NOT send them here. They do not respect anyone's pronouns if those are not the ones assigned to them at birth. They usually are respectful of most sexual orientations, but there can be bullying and misunderstandings because of that. However, in terms of gender, they are not accepting or respectful at all in that department. Exercise: I just wanted to mention this because it's kind of important, but you do not get a lot of exercise here. If you are able to go outside, you can get a little bit of exercise, but not a lot. You're only outside for about an hour. They do have a day to do exercise in RT, but a lot of times it wouldn't actually happen. For some reason, they prioritize the boys exercising over the girls (from my observations). The Recreational Therapist kind of made it clear that the girls were weaker or couldn't do as much or it was more important that the guys keep up with it because of sports. Which is fair enough, but also kind of sexist. Environment (with the patients): the environment can change throughout your stay there. However, while I was there, I saw a lot of people come and go and the theme was pretty much all the same. Drama. All of the time. No one was kind to each other for the most part. Even if they weren't fighting, they were just being very rude or disrespectful to one another. Anytime anyone interacted with each other, it was pretty much just gossiping and making up rumors. There were a lot of times where the entire unit decided to hate one specific person and they would just constantly talk about them or bully them. They also all went by that policy of like, "snitches get stitches" or whatever and it was honestly the dumbest thing ever because they would do horrible things and then expect you to hide it from staff and if you told someone they would gang up on you and you would harass you for as long as they could. The Staff: in my opinion, the staff were kind of a hit or miss. The only staff I really did not like were the people in the education department. For the most part, everyone there wanted to see you succeed. However, it was very much tough love. They were extremely strict there. That is definitely not the best thing for people who struggle with social cues or have a lot of anxiety. It was honestly very difficult to adjust to. However, I feel like they genuinely do care. Most of the therapists in my opinion were amazing, even though they, again, were very strict. The MHT's (those are who you spend the most time with) were honestly not my favorite, but there were definitely some good ones. As far as the nurses, they were pretty much all very sweet and did their job to the best of their ability. The doctors were not the best in my opinion. I liked my doctor, but he did not really listen to me whenever I explained my side effects or wanted to consider other medicines. I was having a really bad problem with involuntary muscle movements as a side effect of my medicine and it took him about a month before he even started weening me off of it. I still struggle with some of those side effects today because he did not take me off of it soon enough. The medications for the most part were really beneficial, but he as soon as I mentioned any side effects, no one would really take me seriously. Another issue I had was that if you had physical complaints (like if you were sick), your med doctor had to refer you to the doctor that dealt with illnesses and that usually took quite a long time. Towards the end of my stay there, I had really bad ringworm and they did not give me proper medication for it and it got really bad. After I was discharged, I got it checked out and I had to go on a more severe form of medication because they didn't properly treat it and it took a very long time to get rid of. I also had reading glasses that they had "lost" and then they found it later on and finally gave it to me and I broke them by accident and when they "fixed" them, they literally just put the frame back together with what looked like super glue. Then, obviously, it broke again and they wouldn't repair it cause they thought I broke them on purpose. After I was discharged, they sent them back in an empty pop tart box. Later, I went to the optometrist and I had to get a higher prescription for my glasses because I had gone so long without them. My recommendations: I would recommend this facility to people who have extreme behavioral issues, anger issues, problems with the law, running away, or struggle with substance abuse. I would absolutely *not* recommend this to someone with really bad anxiety or suicidal thoughts/behaviors that are not accompanied with any of those issues. I especially would not recommend this to someone who is autistic. They are not equipped to handle those situations and it probably will be traumatic. They are trauma focused, so it could be beneficial with someone who has PTSD or has had a lot of trauma, but again, if it's not accompanied with those issues mentioned before, I don't think it would be the best experience. I did benefit a lot from their treatment and I haven't been hospitalized since, but it was genuinely probably one of the worst experiences of my life. It helped me face the real world, but it was rough. It literally was almost like prison. Some other options: if your child struggles with anxiety/depression/suicidal thoughts/self harm, I would 100% recommend Parkridge Valley (it's in Chattanooga, TN). It has a much more gentle approach and they have a lot more activities and access to things. From what other people have told me, The Village (in Louisville, TN), is pretty good for people who struggle with depression/anxiety. It is definitely not good for people who run away, but I have heard that there is great staff. A piece of advice: when looking at places, do not check out their website. It is just not accurate AT ALL. Listen to the reviews and actual experiences (with your own judgement). Definitely look at news stories. Putting someone in a residential facility is something that will probably affect them for the rest of their life, so don't take this decision lightly. In Summary (shortened version): education was very bad, they take a very strict approach, not good for people with very bad anxiety or people on the spectrum, good for behavioral issues and substance abuse or people who run away, trauma-focused, doctors and staff were okay, not good on exercise or water, not good for anyone who is transgender, very secure Thank you for reading this (if you did). Honestly, I don’t know how to explain my visit at Compass. I’m a lot more better now but my stay there was horrible and helpful for me at the same time. We had 10 to 15 minutes for your hygiene and it was very stressful. Sometimes I didn’t even have enough time to brush my teeth!!! They rushed the kids so much and it gave me a lot of stress. The food was horrible, the burger patties weren’t even cooked all the way and it made me sick just smelling it. I lost so much weight and I was so skinny because I couldn’t eat that nasty food. There was only a cougar of good foods that they had, but not a lot. The staff yelled at you constantly and they say they don’t expect you to be perfect but you get in trouble for everything!! You can’t talk, or be a kid at all. It’s not fair for the kids to be insecure about everything they do when they are at Compass. Your timed to eat, do your hygiene and so much more. I have braces, and it took them almost 3 months for me to get a dentist appointment to change my wire, and I was there for a little over 7 months! Kids were fighting constantly and I had a lot of panic attacks from it. Some of my roommates were scary and I didn’t like being in the room with them because they made me nervous but also a lot of them became my best friend too. Your not allowed to have emotions, you get in trouble for crying too long. I felt like I had no place to be myself or feel emotions. Kids are humans too, they have emotions sometimes you just have to let it all out. But no, you weren’t allowed to do that at Compass Intervention Center. I hope this review makes any parents has second thoughts if you wanna send you child here. I’m not saying that in a bad way, it’s just a very uncomfortable environment to be in.
