This is one of the most incredible places I have ever been. After a prior failed attempt this is the place that did it for me. The staff is extremely friendly courteous and responsive. There is a Tech who works there named Bryant (aka Ray Charles) who helped me more than anyone I have ever been helped by in treatment. The food was amazing and I cannot say enough good things about this program.

Had an appointment for assessment for admissions at 1630. Got there and signed in on time. One other client arrived at same time. Took them back first and we waited until 2000. They still had not finished with that one person. We left. They called us five minutes later to say that they were almost through with the first person and that when a person was late for their appointment, they took walk-ins before them. We were NOT late. And one person to handle a four hour admissions process for how ever many patients have appointments (plus walk-ins) is irresponsible. The nature of an addict is that the longer they are without their drug, the crazier they get. They did more damage than good tonight. If you care about your loved ones, do not go here.

close friend of mine recently was forced to stay there and was treated with the utter most disrespect. The staff insulted them and then laughed in their face about their problems, and also broke multiple of other common laws. The fact that when i came to visit, one of the staff members was incapable of properly reading my simple name on a drivers licences, showing a severe lack of general intelligence and awareness on part of the facility.

This is the only mental health facility I’ve ever been to, but I have had friends/family in the same position as me that have gone to rehab centers and this place is the WORST. The staff is so obviously careless and treat the patients with such disrespect. I was sent to this place from the hospital without any say because I was a “threat to myself and others”. Understandable because I overdosed the night before, but I thought I was being sent here to get help, not to be scared and feel as if I was in prison for 3 days. The food was disgusting, I didn’t eat once the whole time I was there. I was placed in a gross, freezing cold room with a plastic mattress and only one sheet as a blanket. I maybe got 3 hours of sleep the few nights I was there. The showers were awful, the curtain covered half of it, the water was cold and shut off every 30 seconds like a sink in a public bathroom, and the shampoo was also the body wash. My room was shared with 2 other people who felt the same way as I did. Scared, unsafe, and just completely uncomfortable in the situation. Good luck meeting with a doctor or therapist while you’re there because the chances of it actually happening are slim. I had to ask the staff SEVERAL times when Id be able to talk to either as they were the ones in control of how long I stayed, etc and finally saw the doctor (he was literally the only nice person in this place besides the patients) the last day I was there. I talked to him for about 25 minutes and was realeased shortly after. The staff is extremely cold and unwelcoming. I was almost forced to take 3 different types of medicine (the only medication I was taking at the time was a low dose sleeping pill, which by the way they tried to give me first thing in the morning) 2 times a day. I didn’t swallow them I went into the bathroom and spit them out each time. I wasn’t even informed what KIND of medication was basically being forced down my throat. Any questions I had I got half-ass, rude responses and dirty looks from staff members. I felt so unsafe and scared the whole time I was there. All day all we did was sit in a room in front of a tv with no sound just subtitles. Please avoid this place at all costs. This was one of the worst experiences of my life and I wouldn’t recommend going to this rehab for help to my worst enemy. I drove myself crazy all day and was not helped AT all. I wanted to go home the whole time and when I finally did I felt so relieved as if I had just left a literal prison. DO NOT GO HERE FOR HELP.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR TREATMENT!!!! If Wilmington treatment center is pushing you here, it's because they are owned by the same corporation. REASONS; Lets start with Dr. Davidi that runs it. He is a quack!! Completely uninterested in what the patients needs are. A lot of the program is "Fluff". You have around 45 hours of "Programming", or groups per week. My experience was that 10 of those hours were productive, substance abuse oriented. The rest was filler to bill the insurance company. THE FACILITY; There are 4 apartments, each apartment houses 11 people. When I arrived there, 2 of the men's apartments were sharing one shower because of hot water issues. Yes, 22 people sharing one shower. 2 washers, 2 dryers for 35 people. Food is very unhealthy. You can get one tiny bowel of salad at lunch time. No other fresh vegetables at all. What they do serve, they are very stingy with. Don't be fooled by the pictures, or false claims. My parole officer and my wife left several messages on a voicemail because that's all they could get a hold of, with no message passed to me and no returned calls to them. FIND SOME WHERE ELSE TO GO!! You won't get what you need here.

I was in this facility for 8 days when I was 17 years old. About 3 years ago. I had an awful experience. I was there because I had a mental breakdown. It was freezing! They gave me a medication called abilify and I had awful reactions to it. I couldnt sit down or sit still! Instead of taking me off of it they threatened me with a tranquilizer and MADE me sit down. It was horrible. The techs used my crayons without asking me if it was ok and they lost several of them overnight. I was so angry. They made me stay an extra 2 days because I wouldn't eat their food! It was disgusting. I have never been to a place where they could actually mess up tacos and they did! Not only that but I had to ASK a nurse at bedtime if I could have some sheets and a blanket because they gave me none. They sat us in front of a tv a majority of the time, except for Mr. C. Mr. C was the best tech they had. He was kind and respectful and he treated us like people, not prisoners. I had never been so relieved to go home after being treated the way they treated me.

Great staff, I learned a lot, best place I've been to. I am surprised it only is ranked 2.5 stars. However, I only did 7 days. The only complaint I had was it was cold, but that's typical for these facilities. The staff was caring, knew what they were talking about, and got down to the core of the problem... not just scratching the surface as so many detox centers do. I recomend it.

This was the worst place for anyone to ever have to go. There is no diginity given to the patients by any of the staff and they don't take proper precautions to keep the rooms insect free as mine was filled with ants and I had to endure the harsh smell of canned ant spray on my bed to control them causing skin irritation. Don't ever get me started on the Dr and counselors..nothing there was of use to me. I made my recovery by being back with my family at home!

I was admitted from the hospital to the inpatient program for depression. While some of the staff were very nice, most were absolutely terrible and rude (one actually made a COMPLETELY INAPPROPRIATE remark about my physical appearance) All you really did was sit in front of a TV all day while the staff try to give you a bunch of irrelevant medicine 3xs daily (I don't take any and they tried to give me at least 5 different types every day) I saw the therapist maybe for 5 minutes and it did not help me what-so-ever. It really was like a prison, and the staff do not care about trying to help you. Trying to contact them about billing afterwards has been such a pain!! I really would give 0 stars if I could. If you're dealing with depression and looking for help I would highly suggest just getting a therapist who can accommodate your needs and give you correct medication if necessary.

Mediocre at best, once I left I could not get a letter of completion. The therapist I had refused to return my calls. despite my need for her to complete my paperwork. She still will not receive my calls and never sent any of my paperwork.

In absolute disbelief. Stay away from this awful excuse of a rehab, was told that if I got there on Monday, I was already accepted, there wouldn’t be any issues. Find a ride on my own to get dropped off, get there and they say it needs to be another few days until I can be admitted, almost thrown out onto the street 4 hours away from where I lived, was forced to get a room close by. With there being no cabs, Uber’s, or Lyfts (and imagine I’m still fighting sobriety) I have to call the sheriffs department to give me a ride to the room which any of admistration didn’t assist me with. NEVER IN MY LIFE! Can I give this place zero stars. Finally I get to a place to sleep, wait until Saturday and head back there to get treatment. They ask for intake and I then apparently don’t do admittance in the weekend. I walk in the doors ready to admit myself and the supervisor Pam who was the one putting me out on the street the past Monday acted as if she had no idea who I was, and tells me they don’t do admittance on the weekends. THAT WASNT SAID WHEN I BOOKED MY ROOM. Being given the run around again I left. THEN, my poor mother calls back up there and they start screaming at her, when the both of us are just acting on what we’ve been told. IMAGINE IF I ACTUALLY WENT TO THIS PLACE. I pity the soul who ever has the displeasure of coming here. (And I’ve been to other rehab facilities that I absolutely love so no it wasn’t rehab JUST THIS PLACE) Never in my life have I been pushed to so much distress. Thanking god im maintaining my sobriety, and am kind of proud of myself after all that I didn’t have a drink. Would never recommend to another human being.

Avoid at all cost. I have been in several programs and this one is does not have the best interest of the patients in mind. I was tricked by the admitting employee who twisted my words and convinced my insurance that I needed to be inpatient, even though I had just been discharged from a inpatient facility and was only seeking outpatient services. I went for an interview to gain information on the outpatient program and somehow ended up in a room surrounded by staff telling me I had to stay there. After several hours I was finally allowed to leave after falsely keeping me there. They eventually had no choice but to let me go as there was no evidence that I was a danger to myself or others. This experience traumatized me and made me very uneasy. They take advantage of the vulnerabilities of those suffering from mental illness in order to cash a check.

There ain't no other place like this place. It has real good counselors in it, the best I've ever seen. They really truly helped me. My advice is for people to come here before they go anywhere else. The nurses and the counselors are the best I've ever seen.

The group therapies were interactive and very helpful. Therapists reacted appropriately to people that were trying to only draw attention to themselves and act as perpetual victims to gain sympathy from others and divert the therapy from "group" to "individual" therapy.

Not sure these other reviewers on here are talking about the same place I went to. Rebound saved my life. The therapists are so helpful and really do care about the patients. The nurses were attentive and took time to talk with me as well. The CEO even made rounds every day and said hello and talked with patients. Rebound is a smoking facility and there are plenty of smoke breaks. It is a crisis stabilization unit and I stayed for seven days. Rebound didn't solve every life problem but it got me back on my feet and now I go to outpatient therapy to keep working on me. You have to want the help and want to change for these types of programs and facilities to work. The other reviews frustrate me because it sounds like the other people have a sense of entitlement. I wanted to make a change in my life and Rebound helped me do that. THANK YOU staff at Rebound!!!!!!! I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to make a life change.

I have spent 7 weeks at Rebound Behavioral Health for Bipolar Disorder and substance abuse and gained the confidence and knowledge that I need to better myself. Had it not been for this program and this staff, I don't know if I would still be here today. They were kind, considerate, encouraging, and always there for me. I can't thank them enough.

My wife spent two weeks in their PHP program. She was able to stay on site and that made it easier on the commute since we live an hour or so away. She received a lot of help through the group sessions and activities. These were 5 star rated for sure. The food was not all that great, and the medication management/staff was at times not totally professional. With all that said I do feel she received what she needed from the program there. She went in for mental health issues not substance abuse, but they do treat both. I would highly recommend them if you have a loved one who needs a step down from a hospitalization or just a program to address needs to prevent a hospitalization. For the PHP they really worked with her gaining the ability to return to a normal productive life. I am truly thankful for their work.

Rebound is a wonderful and safe facility with caring staff. I chose rebound because of their unique and one of kind program, PHP - Partial Hospitalization Program, which features an option to board. I was unable to find any other facility with this option for substance abuse treatment that specifically offered in-patient treatment other than a detox unit. The PHP program is wonderful they focus on the whole vs. the one (addiction, clinical, and mental health). I would highly recommend this program and facility to anyone with similar issues!

I have mixed emotions about this place. I was suffering from a nervous breakdown and checked myself into the facility. On one hand, I received excellent group therapy and individualized therapy sessions that enabled me to see that I am a priority. Some of the staff was warm and nurturing. Yes, you do spend a lot of time in the day room, but you are also free to go to various activities as well. I was in with a great group of people and we got along and helped each other amazingly well, but that was it, we helped each other more than the nursing staff. We saw people come in and not be seen for hours that were in the middle of a crisis, ready to give up on life, just crying for help. They were just left to cry in their rooms until the Dr. came in the next morning. I spoke to one lady more than the staff. She hugged and thanked me as she checked herself out within hours. I still hope she is ok. There was one horrible staff member that stayed on his phone the entire time and ignored us and the "potentially violent" patient he was supposed to be monitoring. He even left the facility for 20 minutes without passing that patient onto someone else to monitor (this guy was throwing chairs, etc). He was extremely rude and disrespectful, making comments to the fact that I was crazy (not what I needed to be told). I filed a complaint, but given the amount of concern, I doubt anything was ever done about it. On the flip-side, there were two male nurses that were so wonderful to be around. They treated me like the fragile person I was at the time. As for the insurance, they work with you on the billing, but I was told my outpatient therapy sessions would be covered 100%. I only agreed to attend after they told me this, but now I am receiving a bill for those sessions, over a year 1/2 later. I am working through this with them. I am thankful that I was able to work through my personal issues. I just wish that there was more compassion and less disregard for the state that people are in when they come there for help.

It's a predatory organization that financially exploits healthcare insurance, retaining patients past medical necessity in order to maximize insurance days.

This place is awful. They switched up my meds (as with everyone else!) as soon as I got there, wouldn't give me an antidepressant, put everyone on Seroquel for sleep (hello... and anti-psychotic for SLEEP?), I got to speak with a counselor twice in 6 days. The daily schedule wasn't adhered to and shifted based on who was working at the time, we were told it was meditation time but then had people arrive to teach classes, so we missed meditation if we attended the class. One of the nurses who gives out meds told me she already gave me my sleep meds (when she hadn't) then woke me at 530 in the morning to give me thyroid meds but the wrong dose, then also tried to give MY meds to someone else, which would have sent that person on a downward spiral! She also left HIPAA violation paperwork on my nightstand! What a joke! Then I'm left with a $4k bill for a place I didn't need to be at. I went for anxiety but was treated like anyone else coming off drugs/alcohol. NOT a good place for someone who isn't addicted to something. I don't know how folks who are addicted feel but this is not the place for anxiety patients.

This place is a big joke! Techs and nurses think that they are better than the patient's even make fun of the patients in their face! Witnessed a heavy set woman come in a wheel chair. When the techs in the hospital got her they made her stand up and made fun of her out loud shouting pull your paints up when she stood up! Most techs and nurses get a kick out of making fun of the patients. It that type of party there! Very clickish environment! As a former employee very few willing to help when they knew I was a new employee! Very toxic environment! No respect for patients! Most of the people that work there are rude! From the CEO on down! Even one of the cooks is rude! Dont trust these people I know I use to work there! Rebound only cares about money! Not everyone but most are very sneaky dirty little people working at rebound that don't believe that they could very easy end up in a place like that as a patient themselves!

there’s so much bad things I could say about this place but the one thing that sticks with me forever is how during a group session we played these games on the board right .. please tell me why hang man was a game initiated & played in a place with people who .. I would give 0 stars if I could! Doctor or nurse would not talk with me on the phone regarding questions I had about treatment/medication. I was told under no circumstances would I get to talk to dr or nurse, they never do that. Had no communication with anyone that worked there until they needed more information on the patient. Tara was very rude & very unprofessional on the phone with me. It is clear that this facility does NOT need to be in the health care field...especially the mental health area. They gave absolutely NO compassion for their patients or their families!! WARNING: STAY AWAY FROM THIS FACILITY, THEY ARE IN IT ONLY FOR THE MONEY!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Mesha is an overbearing African-American that disrespects people when it is her time to talk! She DID NOTHING for my recovery the two times that I visited. YES! I said TWO times… hoping that the second visit would be better. But her classrooms were a COMPLETE JOKE!!! I have no tolerance for a haughty black woman! She made my recovery seem impossible with her stupid clap sessions to open up her failed classes. She ALWAYS offered the class to be dismissed after 5 minutes of a classroom full of addicts, if we would…. Wait, wait,…. walk around the ponds three times… (which she never had oversight of) and then tell us you are free to go watch TV and enjoy your welfare visit! She wants her paycheck, and she doesn’t give a shit where you land after… But Ally did… and she left….

I’m not sure what that one review said about Mesha but she SAVED MY LIFE! I wouldn’t be where I am today if it was not for her. She is practically running the entire PHP program by herself so of course she has a lot on her plate. But she always made time for us and always made her groups fun and engaging. I have committed before on this "so called treatment facility " and I have had 3 plus years to think of the torture and pain this place puts people through. My opinion has only worsened over time. The staff treated the patients as prison inmates and children, never took responsibility for spraying poison on the bed I was forced to sleep on causing me skin irritation and whelping. Hell they couldn't even keep they patients safe from other patients... I was injured by another patient and the protocol was to check my pulse rate and BP. HOW STUPID..THE MAN DROPPED ME TO THE FLOOR SLAMMING MY ELBOW TO THE HARX FLOOR! MY ELBOW WAS NEVER EVEN LOOKED AT! THE STAFF LIES TO YOU DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES DON'T LET YOURSELF OR YOUR LOVED ONES BE SENT HERE

Run! For the love of God, RUN! I have scheduled an appointment with a therapist to recover from my stay there. They medicate patients to the point of zombies, then put them in front of the TV for the majority of the day. We watched a minimum of 4 full length movies A DAY. If we weren't watching that it was Family Feud. I went to a "therapy" session focusing on how to make decisions. This was done by playing Would You Rather? As in, "Would you rather have uncontrollable body hair or uncontrollable body odor?" That was our only therapy for that day. I should be grateful. At least we had therapy. Not sure what I should have gleaned from that. The staff had some nice people, but the majority were simply jerks. I sat eating breakfast one morning, with my back not two feet from the staff. I heard a minimum of six comments like"---- (patient) is so obnoxious, I can't stand her." "I wish they would all go to their rooms and stay all day." I finally turned around and confronted them by saying "I don't like the vibe I'm getting from you all." To which the nurse said,"What do you think you are hearing?" That's when I remembered I was in a drug detox program and they could twist things and say I was hearing things. I wrote a complaint but never heard from the person who was supposed to respond to those complaints. Another tech was yelling (a marine in another life), scaring so many of these young ladies - many who had experienced rape and already felt vulnerable - to the point they would go into their rooms and refuse to come out. No worries for the techs - that meant less work for them. It made me physically sick. I filled out a complaint on him as well. Guess who is still waiting to hear from the person handling complaints on this as well? I suspect I was kept longer than medically necessary because I had insurance. I guess I'll never know the real reason. That would mean I would have to see a doctor, something that NEVER happened during my eight days of hell there. I wish I could give you more specifics, but my notebook where I was writing the information suddenly disappeared while I was showering one day. Didn't happen to anyone else. For a full understanding I feel I should tell you I was detoxing from OxyContin I received from a horrible kidney stone that went awry. I was septic for weeks and on pain medication the entire time. I tried to get help as soon as I could start getting off of the medication. The only thing I am grateful for is I am sober and alive.
