I got out of Horsham clinic partial program on Tuesday. Wow! The most awesome place ever!!! The staff there is so nice. The Horsham Clinic felt like home to me!! I remember when I first went there April 14th, I went into my social worker's office and started crying, and I said, ''Please don't make me come here! I was there for two months on and off, and sadly, my last day was Tuesday, and I didn't want to leave. If I had to come back here again, which I probably will... I would definitely go here!!!!!!

There's no one on one therapy or at least I didn't receive any. There's just groups and it's very hard to get anything out of groups due to other patients not cooperating. There is way too much free time and I think it adds on to the feeling of isolation. Some of the staff are helpful and incredibly kind but some of the staff talk down to you and treat you like an animal. I understand that the goal is to keep patients safe but that's all the horsham clinic really did for me. It didn't help me in any other way.

I think this is a great hospital. I was in 3 different ones in New Jersey and they were terrible. It felt like you were in jail. It's nothing like that here. Of course you just can't leave your ward but there is more things you are able to do. I just was there for 9 days and they really have eloped me.

It's a ok place. Been to worse. The place is fairly clean food is so so really no private rooms one per unit if ur lucky ur Dr writes for it. As trauma victim there should be more. Groups are good most staff are kind and there if u need them. Overall a decent place.

My son spent three weeks here at the age of 6 in 2014. I was able to visit him daily. I found the staff to be knowledgeable, professional, caring, and appropriately strict. My son came out changed significantly for the better, with new coping skills. I only had experience with the juvenile program, but based on that I found this facility to be an excellent resource for those that need help.

I took someone in for an initial assesment. The staff was very receptive, friendly and professional. Our only complaint is it took 3 calls and over 30 minutes on the phone to schedule an appointment.

IF you are a parent reading this. DO NOT SEND YOUR KID HERE LMAO. . being hospitalized was horrible. The staff HAVE 0 experience. Also the staff just allow fights, and don't do anything to stop them. The staff are rude, and don't care about the kids. The facility is disgusting. When I went (2 times) they still had throw up on the walls, and just food littered. There's no actual therapy or coping here. All you do is draw, sleep, or just do nothing. I really think ya'll should sort out the groups. Because I was in with bad butt kids, and I was only there because I needed some therapy. Terrible place.

Was recently discharged from this facility for a bad episode of depression and anxiety. The staff was extremely helpful and supportive during my stay. While there were certain rules that needed to be adhered to, it comes with the territory of being in a psychiatric facility. The therapists there were all very helpful with their suggestions as well as meeting with myself and the other patients in the unit. It was because of this facility and it's staff that I am now well on my way to recovery.

Worst place ever.i brought my child inpatient and there was no progress even thou my child was suicidal and out of control they called Dhs and tried to remove her from us and ruin our lives. All this was done secretly. DO NOT BRING your child here.

My Daughter was in the Horsham clinic two in a two week time frame, and the doctor did nothing to help her.She was discharged and she was no where ready to be discharged, and two weeks later my daughter tried to kill herself again, and now I am taking her elsewhere. The staff are rude, the unit is really dirty, and I think the doctors got their psychiatry licence out of a cracker jack box. I would not recommend this place to anyone with children and their teenagers. The board of health should close it down.

I was in adolcent 4 about a month ago . I think it's the unit that's horrify . Although adolcent 4 is a great unit . It was a small unit it was with 12 kids that's all . Adolescent 3 and 2 is much bigger . But I would recommend this place . The food isn't that tasty . If you focus on your treatment you'll be good to go

Im going to the partial progam... I have to wake up at 6 and wait for the van to come at 7:30 to 8:45 :l and leave at 3. Is Horsham good or not? I feel like I will end up hating it!

In my opinion, the treatment provided by the doctor is negligent. She spent only seven minutes to assess our family member and did an incomplete history of his medicines. Then left for the weekend leaving inappropriate medicine orders for the next two days. In addition we found several nursing staff members to be extremely rude. Would not recommend this place.

My best friend was admitted into this hellhole. I think the mistreatment and neglect will forever stick with her. The main part of recovery is getting actual hep not drugging you until you barely remember yourself.

I was 12 and I was sent to Horsham Clinic. I am 15 years old now and the memories from there still haunt me today. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if you are a parent with a kid struggling, dont send your kid here. I went in and came out worse. Being there was traumatizing.

Unfortunately, I have been an adult patient at Horsham Clinic four or five times, and also did outpatient there as an adolescent, all from the time I was 15, through age 24 (29 now). Made the mistake of turning to Horsham for help with my addiction, not realizing that their core mission is addressing mental health issues, and dealing with any of those patients who have addiction issues second. In other words, when you go through admissions, if you tell them you are there to get help detoxing and getting clean, they will tell you that they cant admit you for just your addiction problems. You have to have mental health issues, and you can’t just say that you are simply depressed. They won’t admit you unless you have some sort of mental health crisis on that requires you to be admitted. Aka, you have to go in there and say, and the person admitting you will straight up tell you this, that you have to be suicidal or homicidal to be considered a serious enough case to be admitted. Aeveral different people admitted me several different times, and each time after the first time, I was determined to find a way around that crazy rule because I didn’t want to go in there saying I was suicidal or homicidal, because I wasn’t. I didn’t have any other choices in these moments, so I lied about myself and my status via direct guidance to do so from the staff doing my admission. At that point, you are officially on a psychiatric hold and no longer permitted to leave on ur own. You would at that point, if you want to leave, have to sign a 72 hour release form, which states that the facility has the right to hold you for up to 72 hours, & require you to see a doctor (which is the least ludicrous part of it all, seeing the doctor before being allowed to retrieve your property and belongings and finally leave..that much is standard) Before being cleared to leave due to the fact that you now need to be cleared by the doctor to make sure you’re not still suicidal or homicidal! It’s a very sick and twisted system that is truly, actually beneficial to so few. This place did a tremendous amount of more harm than good for me. I took the time to write this in detail in the off chance that someone who is out there struggling with their addiction or mental health; who’s looking for help, and ends up on here trying to decide if Horsham Clinic is the place for them to receive help, sees it and is able to avoid going through the same trauma that I went through at the place. Campus is beautiful, outside of that, I have little to no positive things to say about Horsham Clinic. If you’re struggling with your addiction, and are seeking legit help, avoid this place. No offense to Horsham, staff on the unit was always friendly and cared somewhat, especially Coleman. He talked me out of leaving early the one time I was there and struggling badly, I ended up ripping up the 72 hour release paper. Granted, he left for the weekend and I signed another one the next day and left the following day, but he still made a difference in my stay that time, and i know countless others he’s had a positive influence on while I was there.
