My son was speaking about committing suicide. This was our first "stop gap" location to give us the family a "break" from one another. The counselors I think tried to do a good job, however they could be better. My son didn't want to be on lockdown 24/7 and didn't want to be here.... so overall it served it's purpose and $30,000 per month later (paid for by insurance) we had to escalate our son to a more intensive facility.

I went over the summer and it completely changed me. I was struggling with depression and anxiety. At first, it was really really tough. but the staff was so loving and welcoming and the best I could have ever asked for. I needed help and I got it over 7 days. I loved all the staff but Miss Tabitha really helped me out alot. She become like a mother figure to me and I miss her alot and hope she’s doing well. If you are struggling, please go here. Your mental health is SO important. They teach you good coping skills and Spencer (the therapist) is one of the best.

1 Star for Mr Jimmy, Cody and both of the nurses, 1 star for locking me up long enough for me not to kill myself and 1 star for the friends I made there who I never will see again... The people I met were the ones who held me up, the place itself until construction is done is completely claustrophobic and small, not at all what you would consider cozy, sitting in a chair for 12 hours a day isn't my idea if fun at all, I wish the staff the best and appreciate them but honestly the place was hell, they take care of the kids and some staff genuinely care, but some don't. When I was there they had an xbox, some books, and some board games, they also had chairs, that was pretty much all that was in the living space, there were cameras everywhere except the bathrooms which to me is really creepy, especially cause they check on you throughout the night anyways, here is a breakdown of my feelings on my suicidal thoughts, 10 being the worst and 1 being not at all. Before: 6. During: 10. After: 1.5. Now: 0. The thing that keeps me from being depressed now is not wanting to go back, I had nightmares for weeks and tore my room apart when I got home looking for cameras, it was hell.

This place is amazing the staff are nice ive been there the food is good the, there is good food it’s nice the staff likes to cook for us but seriously cook us something for breakfast,the bed are cozy I love it it helped a lot with my depression and axienty thank calm center for helping me!

Im 21 now and went here twice. The first time i was about 16 and i honestly got a lot of help and love that i didnt even want. The second time i went i was almost 18 and i could feel my mental health slipping and i went by choice. I dont know if jeff is still in charge but i always loved him. Hes an amazing man with a huge heart.

They helped me a lot, I went multiple times because I refused to get help but once I gave in they helped me and I couldn’t be any happier now, Mr.Jimmy, Mr.Cody, and Mrs.Tabitha are the ones that kept me going shout-out to them!!?

My olderest daughter stayed at the call center for 7 days and it helped her tramendously. I'm now trying to get my youngest daughter to go because I know it will help her

It's a very nice place, staff is nice, the rooms are pretty cozy, the food is actually pretty good, there's video games, ping pong, blocks, all kinds of nice stuff to play with during free time. it's actually a pretty neat place, the first few days are very rough but it gets a lot better. Everyone there is really nice. Definitely a better alternative to shadow mountain or Parkside.

Wonderful experience, the staff were wonderful, the food options were great and flexible for those who are picky or suffer from sensory issues. Mr.Jimmy can come off a bit harsh but he really cares about you, the same could be said for all of the staff, I mean, one time a staff member got stabbed with a fork, and she didn't put her in isolation or give the patient sedatives, the staff calmed her down step by step with patience. To me, that's impressive that they were so calm. The beds are way better than parkside or all of the other places, they aren't rock hard or anything like that. We have free time, especially when this whole coronavirus thing came about. They have Uno, an Xbox, blocks, and plenty of stuff to play and fiddle with. They let you draw and color, they let you have playdoh and stuffed animals in the dayroom. I'm also pretty sure they let you have nicotine patches for people so they don't withdraw, I'm not sure though. However, the nighttime staff is WAY too loud, usually, they give you melatonin to help you sleep but their rowdiness is WAY too loud. I would recommend this place a ton! Btw, thanks to Spencer, you're awesome!

I was here for 9 days and left 11\28\22. I really dislke this place Mr.Don was amazing and most of the staff were amazing. One of the girls there in room 4 had head lice and the bathrooms aren't horrible, but the others just write on the walls and stuff so its not pretty. The beds aren't terrible, and I do say you would want to bring your own blanket and pillow\Stuffy, but they give smallish nice pillows to sleep with while your there. The staff Mr.Michale and Mr.Cory are very disrespectful and yes you will hear a sob story from Mr.Cory, they are very loud and rude, but this is the best place to go in Oklahoma. So..... From MLJL
