I was highly disappointed with how my loved one was treated here. They were held in a room with a chair for five hours before being evaluated when they were a threat to themselves and others. After the brief assessment they were then released. There were corrective actions done. They were told to call the police if it escalates again. It did not benefit them at all.

These people are totally unprofessional and play games even with people in a mental health crisis. They let a young guy pace back and forth in front of me like he was going to attack me and when I asked him to stop, they asked him once- he refused and threatened to hit me in the mouth and one of the workers actually laughed. Was promised to get my shoes back, only for the worker to stall me and never get them back, not given my pain medicine and told it was rat poison...only to 5 days later take it and it be fine. The only good thing that happened there is that I was given probably the most perfect orange to eat as breakfast that I ever have tasted...

(My stay was in 2015.) The staff was mostly kind, strict on rules, allowed me the choice to take meds or not - which eventually led to meds by court order (very sweet judge and officers). Meals were fresh and always enough, fruit bowl was always available for snacks, there's an awesome cage attached that we could enter to gain peace of mind/oneness with nature/fresh air (VA hospitals don't have this yet). This was/(is?) a co-ed facility. I wasn't aware of why I was there or what was truly happening (undiagnosed, but had schizophrenia). Was transferred to the VA hospital for further observation. I'm stable on meds now and am perfectly back to full functionality like I was before. Thank you all for helping me get back to me. ♡

This is the worst place ever to work Ally Valentine is the director of empowerment she's rude and suffers from severe mental problems she thinks because she has that power and that people are beneath her and she tries to belittle them in front of people Lisa director of nursing is a racist does not like black people very discriminatory towards African-American LPNs she's very prejudice and to think that she used to work at the facility in Norman and they let her come over here they cannot keep LPC or even therapist to save their life they sit there and be little these highly educated staff and then expect for them to want to stay and deal with this crap Ron is the director and he sits back and hides behind a computer and does nothing this is the worst place ever to work and if you are ever in a crisis I don't recommend you send your family here because they're going to sit there and talk about them in their face and then HR sits back and allow them to do whatever they want and don't get fired they will sit there and scream to the top of their lungs do not let this person is they do not care if you have children there they threatened to call the police on me in front of my child I had never been rolled up or anything the Lisa the director of nursing did not like me because I was black and in front of my 8 year old child they sat there and scream to the top of their lungs I'm going to call the police on you this is the worst place ever I have never in my life ever been treated like this and I have done nothing but ever come to work and do my job don't ever take anybody here ever work here the director of empowerment is a 30 year old little girl that needs to grow up and seek medication because she is nothing but a five-year-old and Lisa is nothing but a discriminatory white trash

Locked me in a cement room when someone close was onm their deathbed cause policy didn't allow for calls after seven then called an ambulance for me that billed me 60 grand cause I hit the wall....
