Your kids will be drugged into an emotional Zombies. Directors, Clinicians, and Administrators are only concerned with funding and money. They use money to pacify staff and do not care for the children. Staff do not care for children they use children as emotional and mental punching bags. Administrators keep only whites in high positions and put a lot of pressure on minority staff and anyone who shows slight compassion toward the children. African American staff are under a lot of managerial scrutiny for unknown reasons. Anyone who even stands up for themselves or even kids will be fired or placed under corrective actions until they are formerly terminated. A lot of unprofessional work relationships and people covering each others behinds for the heinous things they do and say to the kids. Clinician only cares about drugging the kids up so that they can be controlled and may even get kickbacks from pharmaceutical companies. Staff sleeping with each other and just plain unfocused in terms of upholding mission statement and values. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED, U Are better off getting parenting classes and family counseling. Unless your child has chemical imbalances and EXTREME behavioral issues, this place will not help.

I'm a student at Parsons and my five year experience there I can honestly say it's more equivalent to a Prison or Jail then anything else. Firstly when you walk in the main entrance you 'as a student' turn in your electronic devices to the staff near the Office or on refusal get suspended for a day. Once you do that you'll enter a classroom where it seems normal, until you realize every kid looks and sounds autistic thanks to the medication the school gives during 'med reviews' (I had never been given any sort of medication thank god!). Now teachers seem friendly at first (and a few too much) but in reality you say or do anything (even if you do nothing wrong) you either be manipulated, disrespect, or yelled. The education part of it is to far behind every other schools in the area, for example in the current grade I'm in which it's 12th you have work ment for Middle Schoolers to early 10th grade. Not to mention that they are under staff and took away some other classes entirely of the under staffing or even not do a class for weeks and months. Lunches are also horrible to as the staff cooking the food is more strict and untrained in the way of other staff are, not to forget they don't even cook so stuff correctly, sometimes you could get under cooked pizza or burger. Even cooking things half or more of the school hates. One quality of the school is the Gym class, now everything about Gym is the most academic class out of the 5 days but this has some flaws to. For starters the Gym has a slightly higher chance for mood swings by the kids, the entire Gym has padding besides where the bleachers are. All in all the Gym even with these flaws is still better than other classes. Finally, the staff pay is a big question mark as they always have round-a-bout ways of saying they don't get paid 'a lot' but can afford nice houses and other things. I bet that hourly rate most be VERY small. In conclusion, Parsons with nothing but only one class being ok is not the right ideal place to come and bring your kids here as they won't help your kids succeed. Only slow down your kids from succeeding in education and make them just a person that doesn't need to live. The staff here use manipulation and disrespect towards all kids in order to make these kids "better." I can't wait to have my diploma and prepare myself for something more than a waste of space on this world. Have a lovely rest of your day and thank you for reading this.

Extremely unprofessional, advoid these people like the plauge! Took over a week to get any type of return call from Parsons regarding an application. Myself and staff from Saratoga School District attempted making contact with Parsons for 5 days straight both by phone and email, before I got a response call. Whenever you attempt to call in IF you are lucky a dismissive and rude receptionist will come up with excuses why you can't talk to anyone and forward you to a voicemail. OR you will get a busy signal during normal operating hours. Either the receptionist decided to take a break and left the phone off the hook or this company can't afford more than one phone line for Their business.

Never send your child here! Your child will come out of there not the same child that had gone in..! This place is definitely not the place for anyones child to live in or get any type of services!

i have been trying for over 6 weeks to schedule an initial appointment for my son, on the recommendation of a friend. it is like trying to meet the pope or the president. i have called regularly, and each time i am transferred to voicemail. the receptionist tells me how in the phone log it shows i have called repeatedly, yet i have received no response. one time they had my phone number listed incorrectly, and another time they told me my son had to call to make the appointment, as he is 18 years old. he was 17 when i first began calling. perhaps if they continue to perform this well, he will qualify for a senior citizen's discount--should he get in.

Disney land' LOL!!!!!!!! This place will ruin a youth's life for these amount of reasons I can say -unprofessional staff always on phones will make the youth in crisis go in a outraged where all the sudden we have APD running around sending these youths to CDPC and returning back with no help - traumatic behaviors they do not care if you are not that dramatizing as these youths are you will be soon enough to fit in these miraculous behaviors and escape into running away and having sex at a really undeveloped age how disgusting!!!!!!! - you will be loaded with prescriptions that aren't needed for your benefit because this agency described all these youths the same as in traumatizing all I can say is this not a place where you want to be permanently at or achieve in you will get train wrecked !!!!!!!!!!

Great environment that is peaceful, comfortable, warm and is conducive to free expression of feelings and emotions. None. All of the people that work here are exceptional caring supportive individuals that truly understand what its like to go thru this process. Each person has your back and provides the community with support and open-ness. I loved being here and this place helped change my life for the good. I now know what its like to really feel good from the inside. I am so grateful to all of the team that helped me come out of a very dark and difficult time in my life.
