This is absolutely a horrible place to get treatment. They get rid of the older more experienced counselors just to fill them with younger counselors that are right out of school. They personally have no experience themselves with addiction. A book cannot teach you about the ins-and-outs of addiction it takes both experience and education to experience fully what an addict goes through. They can pay the younger ones less and control them more. They treat the clients with no respect. They don't care how long you were a client at the clinic and how much clean time you have working their program. They are rude and treat every client as if they were a lying thieving stealing addict in active addiction. If you work in any type of treatment facility you must realize that these people are battling for their lives. They do not need to be judged by someone who they are expecting help from. They have no problem taking their money or their Medicaid but they cannot treat them with respect. People choose to go there not everyone is court-mandated or court-ordered to go there. They go there because they want to change their life they want something more then a life of addiction. If someone chooses to work in this field they need to keep that in mind and stop treating addicts poorly. They are battling the disease of addiction and it is definitely hard enough. Have a heart have compassion and treat everyone with respect. Otherwise find another job if you think that addicts will never recover and there is no hope for them. It's almost like they have no hope in their own program actually working and they always feel that everyone that goes there is lying and not working the program to the fullest. One of the worst people that work there is the head of Nursing her name is pile. I have heard nothing about complaints about her and every time I am at the clinic she is always treating another client disrespectfully in front of everyone embarrassing them and humiliating them and telling them that her word is the final word. If you want help go to another clinic I have experienced nothing changing in the past 5 years and everything only getting worse.
