So grateful for Seabrook House. Beautiful campus and such a great program. Although detox is never easy, Seabrook gives you all the knowledge and tools you need to succeed in recovery. The staff is wonderful and really care for you while in and even after treatment. The Alumni program is also great. They keep in touch with you after discharge and follow your recovery with you. This was my 3rd rehab and what I learned from Seabrook was the foundation for my successful recovery.

As I approach 2 years sober, my life is mostly back to normal. I have good days and bad, with changing priorities day by day. I have the daily pressures of home life and raising my family. Work has its ups and downs, as does my social life. But with all this going on around me, I can count one thing, I won't drink. This is not done by inner willpower because I tried to do it it alone, this is accomplished by my active 12 step program and a sponsor who really cares. AA meetings are a part of life now, as is talking with my sponsor almost daily. AA is a group of people who share the same stories as I have. It is people that understand me and I understand them. Seabrook was the beginning of getting my life back and AA is what helps to keep my life normal. I like normal!

I went through this program in September 2011 and September 2012. I was a chronic relapser and unwilling to take the suggestions given to me. I also was a tough patient and went AMA from the facility after causing a ruckus. I finally got sober 3 months later (Dec 2012) and have been clean and sober ever since. I will always remember my experience at Seabrook. This is a high quality program with helpful staff. I still remember/utilize things that were taught to me there. It took what it took for me until I was finally willing, but Seabrook was one of the major stepping stones in my life to get me to where I am today.

If you have hit rock bottom and have nowhere else to go, then go here. Typical rehab facility. They will treat you like any other patient and give you no extra help. Every person is diffint and they do not think that because of how they treat their patients. They will treat you like any other random junkie. They cannot help an individual, only a certain group of people. If you love your family, do not go or send anyone here.

I have been in multiple rehabs and detoxes, but Seabrook House was the most effective treatment I received. Last month, I celebrated 4 years clean and sober. They run a solid program of recovery. I know the 12-Steps might not be for "everyone," but try to keep an open mind. Take suggestions in the beginning. Then figure out what works for you. I appreciated that the sexes were kept separate. Young women - DO NOT DISTRACT YOURSELF WITH THE BOYS!!! I had no issues with the food, and the cooking staff was very helpful in accommodating my food allergies. As far as people complaining about the money-making aspect of this treatment facility, I did not have that experience at all. I got out owing over $4,000 that my insurance did not cover. They have let me pay $25 a month to slowly work on it while I got my life back together

3.2.1. Good Morning Seabrook House. If you were a lady at residential this should sound familiar to you ?! As you can see by the five stars highlighted above , I do not have a bad thing to say about Seabrook House at all! From the RCs, therapist, cooks, staff, even maintenance! The staff was more than accommodating, understanding, helpful, and in my opinion just AMAZING! Seabrook House saved my life! As of this Friday I’ve celebrated 6 months sober! Although this was my first and only inpatient treatment center , not my first rodeo ! Many hospital stays, wards, and IOPs etc and none even came close to the treatment I did and still receive daily through Seabrook! I attend OP twice a week and administered the vivitrol injection monthly at the Bridgeton campus! I also attend Alumni monthly , which I highly recommend all to participate! It’s a wonderful day for the patients and a great way to give back! I take any and all suggestions and recommendations given to me through the program , it works if you work it! Thank you for helping me to build the stage for my recovery and giving me the tools I need to stay sober! Just One day at a time! Almost forgot ,please do not throw cigarette butts on the ground!! Please do not go to this place! I went here years ago and was told I would not be given suboxone there bc I was taking suboxone at home!!. (I was being subscribed suboxone from my dr but was still using heroin at least every other day ) I begged and pleaded but to no avail. The nurses were extremely rude and judgemental. I started going into withdrawal and left with no money and no ride. When I got home n went to bed I was woken up at midnight by knocking at my door. They had called DYFS on me! My one year old son was taken from me that night. The worst mistake of my life was going to this place that had NO concept of withdrawal from suboxone. Yes suboxone was pretty new at the time but these were nurses and should have known better! Also, even in detox they made you get up by 6 am and program all day. I never seen a detox that didn’t give you a few days to recooperate. It was AWFUL!

Little did I know, when I walked through the doors at Seabrook house it would be the first day of the rest of my life. Reading these reviews makes me chuckle...complaining about uncomfortable beds and terrible food...these people most likely got nothing out of the Seabrook house because they chose not to. The help is there. The education is there. The connections are there. The resources are there. The loving helpful environment is there. If an individual has no willingness and a closed mind, Seabrook house or any other facility for that matter isn’t going to do a damn thing. I’ve seen a lot of rehabs. Seabrook house was beautiful and had excellent accommodations. It’s a rehab people. Not a luxury hotel. Seabrook house was there to help me change my life. I’ve been clean since 10/28/14. They showed me how to build a foundation and for that I am truly grateful.

Really, I didn't like the food? The staff at this program continually advances themselves in an effort to save you. Did not see that anywhere else.

Stayed sober - I tried many different treatment centers, and I spent many years trying to recover. I've been to some of the "top" facilities in the nation. By the time I got to Seabrook, I was willing to do whatever they told me. No, this place wasn't perfect - I ran into many challenges with staff and other clients. I stayed in the long term program for over 3 months, Changes for Women. I was go grateful for every imperfection of this program, because it gave me practice for what I would have to face in the real world. Just because I am an addict and think that things should go my way, doesn't mean that will, or that I will benefit from them going my way anyhow - I learned how to stay sober here, and had some remarkable therapists. You truly get out what you put in. every facility has mixed reviews, but for this I give 5 stars because although they weren't perfect, they walked me through every challenge, and it became a therapeutic experience becasue I allowed it to be. Do you want to write a negative review about this place, or any other place that can offer someone else a solution? PLEASE think twice. I suggest you really look yourself in the mirror, and ask if you have contributed to the problem or to the solution? Give yourself an honest review. I loved Seabrook - changed my life. I have been in and out of many rehabs for 4 years. Finally I was done I needed to get help or I was going to die. I remember someone mentioned Seabrook to me awhile ago so I made the call. Best call I made I truly believe that call saved me. I hung up the phone and packed got to Seabrook the same day. In the middle of corn fields, I wasn't turning back now. Awful experience. My husband was admitted there and left early on AMA because of the poor communication they had. No one got a hold of me in the 5 days he was there and kept sending me to a new therapists voice mail each time I called and asked to speak with someone. No one got back to me. They kept making promises that he could make a phone call out to then say that they were to busy to meet the request he was promised. They also said that he will meet with a therapist in the first 48 hours but never did his whole stay. He never got to meet with a doctor regarding his medications he was on and again was promised and never met. They also tried to keep him to stay an extra day which was just so they can squeeze every last dollar from his insurance. Please stay away from this place like many of the other reviews say, it’s all on money and not only actual patient care. Enlightened Solutions in Egg Harbor was a lot better place and will keep in contact with you frequently about your loved one and will be honest about what’s going on.

I was a resident of Seabrook House ONCE and only for only 18 days and because of the path of recovery they put me on I now have over 20 years of continuous sobriety. The principles are simple, if a person commits to the program, it will work . Relapse is NOT a requirement and multiple trips to rehabs are not necessary.. while it may give people "street cred" you CAN 'get it' in 1 try.. I am a living example of these principles in action ... I am no one special, I do not come from wealth or power.. just a normal guy who was sick and tired of being sick and tired... this works IF you work it .. I have nothing negative to say about the Seabrook House, they saved my life... clearly.. after failed suicide attempts. I now live life on life's terms.. thank you for letting me share.

Number 1 Insurance Fraud !!!!!!! Head to toe they will pick you up no matter the distance. But good luck on getting home they don’t care once insurance stops paying they will dump you in the street. 2 Thank god was strong was just doing pain pills yet the doctor wanted me to start Methdone cause he felt “ it works better then Suboxone “ I said you nuts and did neither. 3 I seen people 12-14 days no therapist at all. Massage ? Lmao Accpuncture??? Lmao Never happens false advertising. 4 place is loaded with covid and they mix people with negative tests with people who test have not come back yet. 5 counselor Jenn don’t give a fuck about nothing honestly think she just looking to get fired. 6 straight up Insuraure fraud they charge my insurance grand a day and all you do is watch 3-4 movies a day and play ping pong for 4 hours a day. Sad but true.

there was great speakers at night and a few great employees. but be very careful they play the insurance game and manipulate evaluations . I was apparently evaluated for a extension by employee that was not even on the campus at the time.

Very helpful staff! I loved all of the nurses especially Marie and Sandra!! They truly care about people! Tiffany is also wonderful! Her story truly motivated me to stay sober for myself and my family!! I went there to detox and knew when I went in that I was done! I have been in many rehabs over the years and I did feel that this place was very short staffed for the amount of people that were coming in, I now realize that they were doing the best they could with the people they did have and were in the process of hiring more staff. I personally had a lot of things that I complained about but I have changed my mind because my perspective has changed! Have I veto better places yes but that was years ago pre-pandemic and I am really ashamed that I know these things but the people there especially Feynton have been where we were and I have stayed sober since I left this place and for me that is a First!! I have to give a high grade to the wellness center with Adriane and Susan at Seabrook as well!! That was one of my favorite things to do for self care while I was at Seabrook. I now look at my trying times and things that I complained about while I was there as building blocks because just as Seabrook house was not perfect- neither is life always going to be perfect and we need to learn to live with life’s terms and not ours so I am glad to have had the uncomfortable times that I had while I was at Seabrook because I learned great life lessons with the very best people you could ever want to meet!!.🌞🌻

My son was there 2xs for treatment. My insurance paid partially but made noone aware of what was not covered. Now my son has a 5500$ bill that will eventually be my debt bc I'm the guaranteed party. How is this allowed. Surprise billing. Ridiculous. It's all about money. That's all. They hardly go thru the motion and hardly help the addicted. Like my child.

Seabrook is impossible to contact any loved ones there ..no one answer the phones ..called for 11 days straight with out an answer or call back when 3 family members passed an was trying to contact our loved one in there treatment facility... No matter how hard I tried we could not get threw... hands down not very family friendly or professional

Women 'earn' extra phone calls home by having sex with certain male therapists. Forget trying to get in touch with anyone- no one answers calls or returns messages. It's a joke

Just was discharged from here. Beautiful campus but the rehab is HORRIBLE. Unfortunately, I have been to a few and this is absolutely the WORST I have ever attended. This place is purely out for the insurance money. It is also a warehouse for poor veterans with no pain treatment. Understaffed and dangerous. Security is nil. Had cops and police dog appear one day. Food is ATROCIOUS!!! And as the other poster mentioned, they will pick you up but Good Luck when discharged. Even though they say you there will be transportation, there is none. Therapists to nurses to RC's there is no communication. Good luck trying to relay any information to the staff concerning your welfare. Some of the RC's were typical surly ass females who think they can say what they want to you. I was astounded by the unprofessionalism, the messed up schedules and confusion with meds times. Unbelievable! I was just detoxing but I feel so sorry for vets who are there for months and for other patients who are doing 30 or more days there. I can't imagine being there for more than 6 days. The speakers in the meetings were wonderful. I learned alot from them. That is it. They also accept packages for patients but don't check them which one patient had drugs mailed to him, hence the drug dogs. Do not go to this place and do not send your loved ones to this place. It is not worth the torment.

The place is a fraud. The video (that is now unavailable, surprise surprise) is the way it was 2 years ago before it got sold. People who where there before then and relapsed could not believe the difference. The staff was for the most part good. Some were fantastic but a couple had chips on their shoulders and talked down to us like we were trash. My therapist who kept moving back mine and others appointments without notifying us was a little annoying. And of course when I filled out my evaluation of her and the facility she stood right behind me so I had to put she was excellent even though she was far from it. I could go on and on.....One other thing is that when my wife said our insurance did not cover Seabrook and told them we were paying cash they decided I needed the maximum 30 days without ever meeting me! And of course when I said I was ready to leave my therapist sarcastically told me I could leave whenever I want but they were keeping all the money. Very unprofessional
