This place literally saved my life - you HAVE to want improvement for yourself first and foremost, but my experience with this place was top notch. I can't say enough about Amanda, the group counselor. Change is hard, and it is an ongoing process, but Amanda has challenged thought patterns, lifestyles, etc. and connected the dots for me to be able to better understand why I was in the situation I was in. The doctors are caring but you only get a very brief amount of time with them. All in all though, this place has brought me from the darkest times in my life to a point of stability in the span of 2-3 months. Everyone's paths are different, but if you want to get better, are persistent about making progress, and are willing to explore and utilize every resource at your disposal, this place will do everything they can to get you to where you want to be.

As i didnt have a lot of interaction with the other staff, i can only speak to one individual. Amanda. Absolutely incredible in every way. She genuinely cares. Theres no facade. She encourages expression without forcing repression. She epitomizes what a great group counselor is and should strive to be. Amanda will challenge you to be the best you possible while remaining non abrasive. Her ability to think in and outside the box extends the reach of those she can be of assistnace to. I thank her from tne bottom of my new found heart.

This facility does not treat all patients the same. There's a definite disparity between race and culture. Latinos and African Americans are just as important as your Caucasian patients. Please don't live up to the negative history that St. Charles, Mo currently has.

I took my daughter to their child program and I was happy to see them in control of their groups. There was a boy that was dismissed from the program midway because he would get aggressive with other kids and I was happy to see them dismiss the child from the program. They were willing to lose the money but keep the rest of the kids safe and well. I can't recommend them enough. We plan to continue individual therapy with the therapist. They do a great job.

I tried several programs but Alternative is the only one that worked. They saved my marriage and my life. Their staff cares and treat you like your life matters. I have been clean and sober for four years now. I am taking my nephew there. If you are willing to take accountability for your actions and need help and support to make it happen I strongly recommend this place. But if you don't have time to care for yourself and your life, no program will do you or your kid any good.

This place is the biggest joke for a rehab facility. It's all about the money for them and they could care less about patient care or even attempting the assist the patient! Even when my private physician attempted to step in and coordinate care and help me, they refused to do anything. Then, they want to collect from my insurance and from me....ha....they did nothing!

Such an amazing place. For the most part everyone is there to get better and actually wants to. The doctors listen and amanda the counselor is so down to earth and helpful. I highly recommend adding their program to your treatment plan!

I don't have insurance and ABC was the cheapest outpatient rehab I could find. I saw the dr every week while I was in the program and now I come back just once a month for a group and to see the doc for my suboxone and other meds. I loved Amanda and everyone was pretty cool. They have a pharmacy too which made it easy.

These people are money hungry. Go somewhere else where they care about your child's recovery and health. We had to leave mid therapy and are now looking for another place. They care more about making money than the child getting help.
