This is an awesome medical facility. Not only is just beautiful, it has the friendliest, caring folks I have met. My care is important to my medical providers and you can tell by the kindness they show when you come here. From the time of check in to your doctor to leaving, absolutely the best. They have the sweetest and kindest volunteers here. They smile and make you feel pretty important. There a beautiful lobby near the cafeteria. It just seems so welcoming. Thank you for taking time to take care of all my needs.

Sadly just had to cancel an appt with the Dermatologist I really liked due to the 500 facility fee they tack on to the appointment charge. You are losing customers because of the high facility charge. I'll drive to the city to save $500! I can understand if it's an actual surgery taking place at the hospital but for something so minor, that is way too high.

I've gone to CRM many times. My PCP is Dr. Christopher Maxwell in the Family Clinic. He has been caring for me numerous years. He saved my life from stage 3 kidney cancer many years ago. I absolutely love him. Today I had to go to the E.R. because I have had pain in my remaining kidney for a few weeks was fearful I had cancer again. Today I had absolutely the most loving nurse named Emily, she knew just the right words to say to a very scared man. She gave me an amazing emotional hug. I'm not saying every staff member there is perfect we have had a couple doozies over the years. In general though everyone is wonderful...

Do not see Jackie Kumm in Peculiar !!! My son was prescribed an antidepressant from a real qualified psychiatrist. Laura was informed not to change this and did so anyway. My son has been hurting himself as a result of this doctors negligence and his condition has declined exponentially. Do not trust her! She gives the same blanket antidepressant to everyone and tells them “ this just works for most people”. She is not even a doctor even though they say she is. She is a nurse practitioner. You have a lawsuit coming Jackie. Bet on that.

I have received good quality care when I have used the ER and the Specialty clinic. I have rarely had problems and when I have it's been in the ER. That has been as a result of the staff. When I have in turn contacted the hospital they were eager to get the problem resolved.

This was by far the easiest MRI I have ever had at this location. I always am up front that I'm a tough stick but in the past the MRI tech's have taken it as a source of 'pride' to prove me wrong which leaves me with huge bruising, anxiety and frustration. I know a lot of patients say similar things due to fear of needles but in my case it's unfortunately so true it's a nightmare! This time, not only did the tech and nurses totally work with me they tried to avoid digging. I only had one nurse who frustrated me slightly because both times she tried she blew through the vein and I knew it instantly but she felt the need to wiggle the needle a bit to prove it. Ultimately, they tried a few things I hadn't done before, warm blankets on the arms, loosening the tie earlier than usual etc. but we had to bring an ultrasound in and that was an amazing experience, it wasn't comfortable, you're having a needle inserted into you, but it didn't HURT and it didn't cause me weeks of bruising. The MRI tech was super friendly, kind and picked great music and gave some very honest good advice. I may dislike my Neurologist but I would go back to this particular office for an MRI again compared to previous experiences.

I had a procedure done today in the GI/Surgery department and the staff was the nicest, sweetest people I have ever dealt with. (Nurses, anesthesiologist and doctor.) Big thanks to all of them and God Bless. ? I also have my family doctor out there as well and Dr. Brewster is absolutely amazing. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else. ? Keep up the good work.

I suffer from a rare chronic disease, most people have never heard of. I have been hospitalized so many times at Cass Med they know me on a first name basis.. The care is always outstanding . I occasionally get a new DR in the ER like yesterday. He hadn't heard of my condition but quickly consulted with Dr. Chitaia who is the on call Dr and has treated me numerous times.

Do not put a loved one in the Sage Unit! My mother had a change in her cognitive status and we were not sure what was causing it. We admitted her to the Sage Unit for evaluation, and hopefully a diagnosis. Her only "behaviors" were not eating and drinking well, and while there she started sundowning. She did not try to leave the facility, not once. They diagnosed her with Alzheimer's type dementia. They loaded her up on meds, including an anti psychotic, which is the same as chemically restraining her. The DON at her nursing home said she didn't know some of these medications were even given at the dosages that were prescribed to her! She only weighed 130 pounds. They immediately started weaning her off but it was too late. On the anti psychotic is a black box clearly warning it is not to be given to dementia patients due to causing three times normal stroke risk and two times risk of death. Four months later my mom is in the hospital unable to move, had a stroke and cannot walk, talk or eat. She will most likely be on hospice within the next month. Expect to be reported to the state, and likely sued. I am heartbroken to be losing her to such needles incompetency. Since you felt it was necessary to chemically restrain my polite, docile mother I don't want to know what you do with behavior patients! You might want to speak with your doctors and staff about how this practice is illegal. I'll be speaking to my attorney about it!

If I could give this joke of a hospital 0 stars I would. My dad started going here in February of 17 for belly pain, weight loss, loss of appetite, etc. for 7 months he was getting scans and various testing done. He even got a scope done in which the person told him he couldn’t even find his gallbladder. We finally took him to research where he was diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic cancer. On top of that, we have two other family friends who were visiting CMC for 6+ months and was told they couldn’t find anything wrong. BOTH diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. This hospital is an absolute joke. People are losing their lives because of the mistakes happening at this hospital. If you are reading this review, I beg of you, please do not go to this hospital. Head to the city and get the treatment you deserve. Because you will not get that at this hospital. SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN

Thank you Dr. Beever and all his nurses that helped my son today in the ER! After taking him into Children’s Mercy yesterday we were sent home with no answers, and his symptoms were getting a lot worse. Today at Cass Regional they found a bad case of pneumonia around my sons back where he was having a lot of his pain. Although my son obviously was still in pain they had him leaving the hospital today with a smile and very happy, I am so very pleased with how patient and kind the nurses were with him. You all are amazing. Thank you.

If I could give it 0 stars I would! The nurses where nice but that's about all that I can say good about this hospital. I went in March 2017 cuz I was passing blood, they did a lot of sacans and test. They led me to believe I passed a kidney stone. I went home and long story short I had to go back 3 times. Still thinking it was a kidney stone. They sent me to a specialist to get the catheter out. Months later I find the paperwork from the hospital and to my surprise I read that they found a mass in my left kidney. So needing answers I take it to my primary doctor. At this time it is September so 6 months went by and I had been seen by the ER doctors, a specialist and my primary doctor. No one said anything about a mass. I changed my doctor and took the report to him it was cancer! Not one of the doctors I seen in 6 months said anything! So in November I had to have my left kidney removed! This hospital is a joke!

A friend took her young daughter to the ER due to flu like symptoms. An older doctor in the ER thought part of an exam for the flu involved looking at this little girls privates and questioning her about her body hair. This was obviously a perv move and if the hospital keeps him employed and he is allowed to keep his medical license then they are no better than him.
