Wonderful place! Best treatment facility in MN! 6 person low key. 12 step based. Great food! I liked it so much I went back for a second go around!

What a new prospective on life! I have been to other treatment facilities and this one tops them all. Pauls place is a 12 step based program with only 6 beds(the smaller the better) and a concentration on faith and the ability to find out who a person really is deep inside. Most patients have a 30 day inpatient program with a proceeding out patient program afterwords. There ability to connect with there patients from a pier stand point helped me tremendously. They have been where you have been some time in there life so they know what you are going through physically, mentally, emotionally, and faithfully . I would recommend pauls place to anyone with a drug or alcohol problem.

Catering to an older age group made my Uncle feel a lot more comfortable when looking for treatment for alcoholism. Not only did he get the help that he needed but also the tools to manage and maintain his sobriety. I can't thank the staff at Arrowhead large enough. The staff and the location.

I think Pauls Place did help however I feel like if they were to streamline their policies they'd be much more effective. It seems like there were too many disconnects with what was going on. Needs to have better communication among the staff. I came out of a very serious domestic situation and one of the management staff used calling my husband as a threat which was extremely inappropriate. There's always another answer.

Well I can say this... it's a nice place and the people are all nice. Tooo nice. They are very liberal which is nice, but need "physical evidence ", according to the councilor, to as much as give everyone a drug test, and telling us that from day one is just not planned very well in my opinion. So when people were using dangerous drugs, and he had no clue I asked him to just watch and listen and even what to look and listen for so I could remain anonymous, and he still acted as though he was oblivious. Well when a guy addicted to opioids was obviously using and mind you there's room for 6 client's so he "the captain of the ship" so to speak, can see this stuff thats... well it's something. So this "vulnerable adult", who's friend just died from getting a pill that was fentanyl not oxycodone, is using in that place, with that substance, which was my favorite drug btw, I finally decided to do his job and tell them I was leaving and just exactly why they listened to me and sounded very serious when they realized what I said was correct but they seemed more worried about me leaving although I was trustee and scheduled to leave the next day. The tech Matt deserves a raise because he was left alone and begging from the bosses boss to send help to get through the night, the head councilor refuses to be distributed on his days off btw, at least that's what he says, but they didn't send anyone at all infact one councilor was there and she left for the night. They tested the next day, found out that my observations were correct and luckily nobody overdosed that night. So I called just to say hi to Head councilor, and make sure he understood why I did what I did and he basically took a defensive status and found he did nothing wrong. Sorry man it's more like you did nothing. I don't even blame the addicts for using because that's what we do, but when you have a man who's in charge of a house full of vulnerable adults and they are easily getting drugs, that btw I had to resist myself, and there isn't even visitors at all because of covid I mean God help me I did what I thought was right and it was hard. I ain't looking for no cookie I only write this for anyone who's mislead by the kind people and beautiful house. I left on probation against court order because even if my probation officer was mad I wouldn't have drugs in my face in jail, but you know what she was proud of my decision and she revealed to me she already had concerns about them when she couldn't get me a message for a full week. Apparently the councilor has been there less than a year along with most of the rest of the staff. So if you want to get a basic curriculum and no real structure besides the label of vulnerable adults Paul's is the place for you. It's more of a vacation and believe you me when I say I'd never have thought I'd walk out of a treatment center because they weren't strict enough. Freedom is not free and drug addicts are sneaky the councilor is one I just think if you are going to claim to run a house you get credit for the good and the bad things that occur. He's really good at one of those things guess which one
