This was my 1st admission. I'm an adult female. Let me 1st say, no one wants to be here, but I was extremely pleased I was admitted to Kingswood. The staff was wonderful to me. They took the time to talk with me and let me know I wasn't alone. The food was quite good and everyone there just wants you to get better. It's short term for the severely emotionally disabled. Whatever brought you there, try to embrace the groups and learn about yourself. It was the best place I could have been in and I would recommend to a friend or family if they were ever in need of extensive psychotherapy. Keep up the good work Kingswood!

Says it's open 24 hours and they are but only accept emergency patients through ER and ambulance delivery. Took my wife here at 3am for a breathing problem and they denied us medical attention. Perfect example of privatized health services and hospitals just becoming businesses.

I love this place and all the staff were nice and especially Ms.Chardonay and Ms.Anna and Ms.Sheila they are my favorite and a few others were my favorites I love all of them so so so much and I miss them dearly

There's a upside and down side to the place I in mod D and well the lady at the desk never called us by our names she called us patients I didn't like that I felt kinda disrespected and also the last night most of us were there we all were saying goodbye and we were sitting in the hallway talking quietly we literally were being as quiet as ever and the lady at the desk yelled at us and sent us to bed early but Mr. Mike was cool he gave us all a stuffed animal and burned us all cds as long as the music we wanted on them didn't have many cuss words in them and the food was good and they let us go outside and make art

Miss Singleton who works 2nd shift in A-mod is a very hard-hearted woman and treats patients like they are inmates instead of patients.

Their policies are not adequate to protect your loved ones from sexual assault and the staff have been negligent in acquiring my family members medical history. Multiple doctors on the team, were not aware of my family members history, and multiple times I was told I would receive a call and never did they reach out unless I called multiple times per day.

Absolutely vile and unprofessional! My mother has been threatened by staff on multiple occasions and forcibly given shots of unknown medication. They don’t allow her to have any say in her own treatment!! They changed her medication multiple times without any notice. If I could give this hospital zero stars I would. I have experienced some horrible conditions but this takes the cake I am disgusted by the things I have heard about this establishment something has to change and it will.

i was in mod D a few years ago. when i first arrived i was treated nicely but was very upset and not cooperating and caused quite a scene. then a tall older gentleman i believe his name was jeff or mike, stepped in and started talking to me and calming me down and gave me gum and comic books and talked in the nicest most caring tone of voice and him and the rest of the staff made my stay after that day great. i am now off all medications and doing great, thanks kingswood!

Wow this place is amazing. I switched over from Beaumont for my healthcare needs and Dr. Theoharis has been my OBGYN for our first baby. My husband also saw Dr. Iwata in Detroit. The high-level of care, expertise and administrative functionality is beyond impressive. We will always use Henry Ford for our healthcare needs from this point forward. Amazing work!

Customer Service does not follow through; Business procedures make me wonder how they remain in business; I have an appointment for a procedure at 6:45 a.m. and miss a call the day before that it has been cancelled...billing was last minute and my insurance company would not approve it but had given plenty of notice so that appeal, etc could be done. Went to see the sports medicine doctor (all of these appointments related); was referred to have injections. On my way to work the day of and receive a call at 8 a.m. to say "this is a foot and ankle doctor; he doesn't do the procedure you need. We just noticed this the day of the appointment? I have missed days from work, made alternative child care plans all for appointments that never happen. Contacted customer service; no call back. Is this business? I think I will exercise my right to take my health insurance to another system

they sent me home with no wound care instructions and when i called no one would answer the most basic questions about it. they told me to follow up with a doctor but when i called they said that doctor didnt work on hands. I called to find another doctor but they ping ponged me to orthopedics. when i called orthopedics they didnt have an appointment until end of month. I am stuck with a finger that wont bend and i only have the internet to tell me what to do now. when you call, you wont get the doctors office just one main switchboard that sends you in circles and makes you listen to how great a place they are with their endless recordings.

My son is a Quarterback at a local high school. He tore us ACL while playing football this fall. We utilized West Bloomfield Hospital and Sports Medicine at Columbus Center. Dr. Moutzouros and his staff have provided the highest level of care at all times! I really cannot express my appreciation for the expert care my boy has and continues to receive!

Dr Zane Hammoud, his thoracic surgical residents (Dr. Ahmet and the other Dr ) and his PA’s are absolutely wonderful! So compassionate and caring, any email I send they answered and always showed respect and professionalism for me when I was facing a terrible cancer diagnosis. I highly recommend this physician and his wonderful clinical staff!!! Also the patient experience reps Melvina and Charlie Thomas and Reyna(?()was so helpful to my husband as he had problems with the St. Regis (no hot water for days) . They were very so helpful and caring. The nurses in ICU were incredible (Mary, Joe and the rest I can’t remember )were awesome ! also Devon In Telemetry was very through with care and discharge instructions and made sure we totally understood all our meds/ instructions ! The transporter to wheel me out ( sparkly fanny pak was so sweet as well! Thank you HF for making a painful scary experience into as pleasant as it could be!

Worst experience I’ve ever had. I’m not talking about the situation I’m talking about the experience at this facility. The faculty was horrible very unprofessional and lack of empathy for the patient. The building was run down I had no hot water for 6 days in the middle of winter. The temperature in the building was so cold I needed 5 blankets on my bed to stay warm. I didn’t get my medication for 48 hours. So I was in withdrawals on top of a mental health crisis. The nurses acted as if the patient was wasting their time, very rude. It felt very unsafe and not therapeutic at all. No counseling, groups consist of coloring books. It felt more like the county jail than a mental health facility. The food was inedible cold, hard, old just awful in every way possible. This place is the very worst.

I was brought to this facility the night of August 8, 2022. I was an inmate there until Friday Aug 19 at 11 am when the Drs released me. I word my stay as inmate because I was called that many times by Joseph. I was in Mod A. When I arrived I was tired and only wanted to sleep. My room was freezing. I have arthritis throughout my joints and I had fallen on Aug 3 and had 3 broken ribs. Carol was my room mate. Very sweet 55 year old christian lady. I requested a Bible and receIved 1 within the day on Aug 9. Anything or anytime I needed water which is often because of the meds I am on meds I am on was an ordeal when dealing with the night shift. I had no chair in my room and Carol was transfered to a warmer room. I literally slept wrapped up in blankets in a hot shower. I was in the last room, closest to another mod. A lot of screaming going on throughout the night. When I would awaken in the night Which was every night, I would request an ice pack or a heat pack. Most of the time I was told they didn't have any. I asked my Dr to order them. Not sure if he did. I know he asked for my chair to be put back in my room which never happened. For the most part you ave a majority of lazy workers. The cell phones need to be removed from your staff. They sit on them starring into them like there is none else in the world. They are not meeting the basic human needs of your paying guests.The majority of your employees need to be replaced with caring, kind, compassionate and empathetic staff. They are going to destroy those employees that still enjoy their jobs and are there for the right reasons. Because they love mankind and want what's best for their patient. Kindness is so lacking at this facility.
