I am a former graduate of the cenikor program while I did graduate and it did help me in my recovery I have to agree with the other reviews on here this place is a work camp I still dont understand why they make you pay to get in and then make you work a paying job and they get your pay check why did I pay to get in I believed the whole time I was there and to this day that its a money scam and another thing I dont understand is how can they say they are a rehab the rehabilitation I got from there is what I got they didn't help me with that that was on me to find out how to live clean and sober and they bragged about how they help you get a job during the last 6 months of the program that's a lie to you have to go get your own job and hope that someone hires you due to the fact you have no work history for the past two years because all these job they send you on dont have a record of you working because they paid cenikor not you and good luck with the whole I'm in rehab yeah you probably not getting the job and the forms of discipline that they enforce I believe are degrading you I think after all these years they could find better ways of discipline or like they want to call it "pull ups" I get it that is a way to point out your behavior and allow you to correct it but if I knew how to correct my behavior I wouldn't be in a rehab with all that being said I am clean and sober today because I want to be not because cenikor showed me how to do it all they gave me was clean time

My friend was recently sent there. I'm told his mom has to pay $850 for the long term. I'm also told his entire pay check goes to you, except for the last 6 months. Why does she have to pay if you get his pay checks? I'm concerned about this. She is a single parent working 2 jobs, just to be able to keep food on the table. She wasn't given very much info on the reasoning, other than his insurance pays for meds, counseling and what not but she has to pay the offsets of his stay. What exactly is she paying for if the insurance pays for everything he's there for?

I was in Cenikor Foundation and I loved it. Unfortunately, I didn't finish the program, but the months I did spend there I really really found myself. The staff and residence there were helpful and encouraging although they had some residents that were there for wrong reasons. I would recommend this place to anyone because the program re-teaches you how to be normal and responsible. As an addict, u develope bad habits. You have to be retrained on how to Interact with people and authority and this program definitely does this. I have met great friends and who would go above and beyond to help me stay on the right track.

One of the worst most nightmarish times of my life. Beware of this work camp. Work you to death and you get no money. Shave head and wear pantyhose to humiliate. No contact with outside world except when someone listening in. Gives me nightmares to this day and that was over a decade ago!
