The care my husband received in Covenant\'s ICU was beyond amazing. The ICU nurses were knowledge, kind and patient with our entire family. Each nurse answered every single question we had and treated us like we were their own family members. Once out of the ICU the charge nurse on second floor was an absolute angel. She made sure my husband was well taken care of and took personal calls from us (the family) whenever she could to make sure our questions and concerns were addressed. Covenant, thank you so much for all that you did for us!

ER Visit - I needed to be seen in the ER and I was very impressed with my care. It usually takes multiple times to get an IV started and Nurse Kim got it in first time with no pain. Wow! That never happens with me. The Dr was thorough and listened to my concerns. The communication was also very good. The techs we\'re very friendly and compassionate. Thank you Covenant for your great care and compassion!

Unfortunately this hospital has gotten worse since being acquired by MercyOne. As other reviews have said, their billing system is bad, and I would recommend avoiding MercyOne if only to escape their billing department.

Went into the hospital for a septoplasty and sinus surgery. I was not told by the OR staff when I was being put under which cause me a lot of panic. When I came out of surgery I was put in a recovery room with an extremely rude nurse. I vomited on my nose bandage and she stuck it back on my face. When I told her there was vomit on it could she please change it she tried to tell me there was no vomit on it and was very rude about it. I asked to use the restroom and told her my back and my legs were feeling very unsteady just to let her know in case I fell. She once again was very rude and gave me the quip answer, \"I don\'t know why that would be.\" Once I was finally admitted to the hospital and stopped vomiting, My bloody bandage was never change the whole time I was there and I was never given a bag of IV fluids a At 5:00 a.m. someone came into the Room and I once again asked for water but was never brought any bits the doctor had ordered. The nurse did not come into the room but only another staff member who kept telling me She would have to speak to the nurse to see if I could have anything to eat or drink as I had asked. I rang for the nurse and she still did not come and I was not given anything to eat. I was given one glass of water and no more. I continued to ask for water through the night but no one came in after a certain point to even check on me. At 5:00 a.m. when someone finally came into the room I once again asked for a glass of water and got nothing. When someone finally came back at 7am I insisted I needed water and was finally given a glass of water. When I complained about the treatment I had received I was told that the nurses were busy because they had 7 admits that night. No excuse!! Horrible place to go. Next time I would more likely visit a veterinary clinic for services than go back to that hospital.

For the most part, we loved the nurses and doctors we have worked with at Covenant but that may just feel that way relative to the rest of our experience. The billing system and processes that they have is another story completely. It\'s obviously an archaic system with slow, faulty processes. My daughter was born and due to a mix-up with insurance effective dates, claims were denied by my insurance. As a result, Covenant felt it appropriate to bill under my name instead which only caused further problems when the effective date was straightened out and my insurance went back to pay previously submitted claims. We finally got everything balanced and my account was PAID IN FULL. Fast forward 11 months and I a start receiving past due notices on a bill that had been considered paid for almost a full year (I have documentation from Covenant showing this). After a year and half of back and forth with them and them sending my bill to a collection agency, they all of a sudden have \"found\" new proof that my insurance pulled back a payment and that is why I owe this money. Why does it take 2 1/2 years to come up with this evidence but yet no one can provide documentation of which to me? With the number of hospitals and doctors in the area, why would anyone subject themselves to this nightmare??? Other reviews seem to show this is a pattern. Anywhere but Covenant is the new motto in my life and it should be yours too

This place is not a medical treatment center. Its a damn prison. Avoid them at all costs and go to another hospital inna smaller town. Because they literally treeat you like a prisoner once you sign that plastic box.

A family relative went into labor on Christmas day. She was the only woman delivering that night. My entire family was there for 24 hours and not even one nurse approached us during that time to even ask how we are doing, let alone to reassure us or provide an update. Three nurses looked visibly annoyed everytime they saw us waking around in panic. If you have an option to go elsewhere, take it!

Worst hospital experience imaginable. Reminiscent of a horror movie. I would not recommend this place to anybody that values their physical, emotional, or mental health. Improper care for patients. Allowed my fiancee no assistance when using the restroom and didn\'t even offer to tie the back if her gown before she exited the room. Kept her against her will longer than was told and would not even give her the medication she is required to take daily. Just the worst kind of care imaginable and I feel bad for anybody that has to go to this miserable place. No wonder it has 2.8 stars on Google and hopefully this will help knock it down lower to where it belongs. I would rather let someone untrained in a back alley treat me than go to this place. Thank you for nothing and hopefully your doors will close sooner than later. The absolute worst 0/100

Was not happy with how long it took just to check in to have labs done. I waited 45 min just to be brought back to check in it took another 10 min for this then waited 15 min to have labs drawn. As I waited for lab there are 3 staff behind the counter. So I took 1 hour and 10 min to have a quick poke. They need to work on the check in process.
