I was there for 7 months, 2017-2018. and I didn't succeed at all when I was there, I was too focused on leaving and not working towards my treatment. I now look back at this place with respect, and thankfulness because the little effort I put into this place actually helped me. I now make music for millions of my fans, and making good grades in school. Also I'm proud to say that Gibault helped me mature and have that stable life that a normal 16 year old like me should have. I'd also like to thank the staff and my supervisor for helping me out in my hardest times and for putting up with me. This place is a life changer. Thanks!

Under no circumstances should anyone send their children to this facility. The therapists lie to your face, the living conditions are unsanitary, they don't respond to phone calls or emails and when you do finally get a meeting they are focused on getting you out as soon as they can without providing much information as to how your child is doing. My daughter was there for 7 months and finished their program. Or so we thought, afterwards they contacted her school and probation officer with discharge information that was 100% the opposite of what we both discussed for 7 months and what they physically gave us. Two entirely different documents! They claimed they kicked her out and told us she progressed thru and completed their program. No one in their facility is on the same page, therapists, doctors, psychiatrists, supervisors, no one. We sent our daughter here because we knew we needed more help for her than we could provide. Now, 7 months later, it's obvious all we did was support false pretenses and we didn't provide our daughter with any indication to the courts or schools that she was putting effort into her personal growth. This facility should be shut down immediately, no parent seeking help for their children should be blindsided like this.

My girlfriend and many other people at this institution have returned home with weird rashes. Riley don't even know what it is. And they tried to give her another person's medicine saying no difference. If they want to amp up there bug spray,cleaning,and correct medicene giving they could earn a higher reveiw.

Gibault has increased pay; brought retirement plans back for employees; and does a lot of incentives for staff. A Chatter Box Cafe was made for our staff to be able to network with peers and have a cup of coffee. An accredited school; Trauma Informed Care facility; Motivational Interviewing Stages of Change; Independent Liviving Program; New Movie Cinema for children; and theme based recreation contest and activities. A lot of community provider trainings and fairs hosted on campus. This facility has kept up with the needs of society and its youth and continues to strive to stay ahead of the latest trends; best practices and knowledge of today's youths!

I love working for Gibault. From growing up in the Southside community I didn't know anything about Gibault, besides hearsay that "thats where the bad kids go, they are convicts, Tre if you're bad you're going to go to Gibault". With that being said from working at Gibault and knowing what these kids went through before arriving at Gibault is just heartbreaking and sickening. Gibault provides meals, shelter and other fun activities for the kids to do. Notice I said kids and not convicts, escapees, and juvenile delinquents. These are kids that are going through mental illnesses everyday, that our staff try to help and be positive role models for the kids, and help them get through their treatment plans to get on the right track and get them home or to another guardian that can continue to benefit the kid's well-being. People may have a bad rep for Gibault because it is on the hill and is mysterious from the road and you don't know whats on the other side of the hill. But before you bad mouth Gibault or have something negative to say about it please come by and do a tour with us and see what all our treatment facility has to offer. We will be more than happy to show you around Gibault and show you what all we do for our kids. I am a licensed foster parent for the state of Indiana and are a therapeutic foster care home we take children that have many issues that most people would not except in there homes. That being said we have had some children that was in Gibault school and have worked with several of there staff. They are an awsome group of people who do an awsome job working with and for the children they are helping through some very tough times in there lifes journey. Simply said they go above and beyound to help these young people to get through some of there problems and become responsible adults

I hate Gibault all the staff curse at the clients and yell at them for no reason and makes sure comments., The clients bully ever client who's trying to be good and discharge, Supervisors yell and curse at the clients and not give them positive increment, . The food is bad it not healthy ether also for snacks they give them sweet treats and other snacks that can me them fat. They dont even do enough exrise to help the kids they just let them be lazy in the dorm . The dorm is not clean ,The therapist there are really rude to the kids and there is wild animals that are hurting kids .and a pond kids go in that in the past kids drowned in .
