Together with their primary focus Emotional health services, Midtown Community Mental Health Center has designed effective treatment programs that transforms the majority of addicts to sober and productive citizens.

Up on entrance, the individual is evaluated and taken care of by specialist. Based upon assessment, a customized, comprehensive drug abuse treatment method is assembled which includes; treatment approaches and period of stay. The treatment strategies used by this addiction treatment centre are:

Midtown Community Mental Health Center offers Outpatient programs with terminology services offered which are devoted to ensuring optimal treatment. The centre smoking policy is smoking not allowed, and so they treat Male and Female within age categories of adults, Adults and Seniors (65 or older).

Alcohol and Drug Addiction Treatment

Midtown Community Mental Health Center's rehabilitation program allows for that individual to continue living at home but which makes regular visits to the facility based in their assessment. The individual will then begin their inpatient therapy program at Indianapolis, IN receiving intensive therapy and the finest of maintenance.

I have been going here for two years. This place literally saved my life. The people here are wonderful and they don’t judge you they help you. My councilor Adam is the best. He listens and tries to help in any way he can. And Sally the lady in charge is great if I ever have a problem she does her best to help. They are quick here. I don’t think I have ever waited more than 15 or 20 minutes, and that’s even if I had to give a urine sample too. But mainly it’s the people they treat you like a person not a drug addict. The ladies that work the front where you check in are great also. Even if there is a line it takes no more than a minute or so to check in each person and they are nice and polite. Dr. More has helped me tremendously. I mean what can you say about a group of people that saved your life.

Great place for counseling and therapy. My counselor has been great they give you the choice to chose your counselor and offer a wide variety of group sessions to attend. The staff is very polite and they make you feel like a normal person and don’t judge you about anything. It’s a really great place if you have had trouble in the past with life.

This place is amazing. Unlike most hospitals and medical centers, the staff here know each patient on a first name base pretty much from the first day you walk in!!! Which is so refreshing considering I've been to drs offices that only have a total of 35 patients and still the nurses don't know you by name let alone know about you... but somehow even tho they see 3 or 4 hundred people a day, they still personally greet you, ask about your kids or family or whatever! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND

If your looking for a clinic go here,,, NOT 46TH STreet. Your in and out in 3 or 4 minutes unless you have a drop or meet with a counselor but when then it's still very fast, if u want a great and chill counselor that also has a sense of humor I'd go with either Kelly, Rebecca, Lucas, or Wade they're great

The caring and professional staff at Midtown raises the bar in opiate abuse disorder treatment in Indianapolis. My husband and I have been able to rebulid our lives thanks to the recovery focused medication assisted therapy at Midtown. Dr. Moe, the nursing staff, the counselors, and the office staff work tirelessly to create a treatment plan unique to each patients needs. I am so grateful for the opportunity to break the chains of addiction with Midtowns help.

Midtown is a place where you don't have to wait in line 45 min your only in line 30 sec it's fast and there really there to help you . All the nurses are like family everyone knows each other . If you need a place that's stress free and and really is there to help this is the place I've been going a long time and try don't pressure you to go down on your dose they don't give you problems on going up on ur dose either like I said stress free I love midtown best thing that ever happened to me I've been clean the whole time I've been there. Great place that wants to help with no pressure!

Horrible I really cant believe how they treat people I got pulled into the office bc I was waiting inside while it was snowing g and freezing. Then supposedly I was asking g for pills and told I was being kicked out and had one week to find a new clinic on my last day I was told I could never come back because of numerous reports I was selling pills so was I buying selling asking or giving that was really bs I never ever did any of it.

I would choose this place over ITC any day. Love my counselor and all the staff is amazing. This place helped me get my life back. Would and have recommended this place to my closest friends.

Avoid this place at all costs! My husband went to a therapist here for severe depression, and was treated poorly the entire time. First, the very first therapist he saw quit the same day he saw him, right after scheduling another appointment with him. Then, we were told that each therapy session costs approximately $200. That is a complete and total lie. They not only billed us for each $200 therapy session, but they also billed us for a “facility fee” of $378 just for walking into the place. So we have been charged nearly $600 an hour for therapy. When you tell them that nobody could possibly pay $600 an hour for a therapy session, they don’t care. The refuse to own up to their lies, and fix the billing. Finally, the actual psychiatrist my husband was set up with quit after his first appointment with him. So here we are, almost $2000 in debt, and no help for his depression. These people should not be able to practice medicine if this is how their patients are treated.

This is crazy. What kind of place that offers help makes you call Monday to get on a list to get a call back Tuesday or Wednesday to set a appointment for Thursday or Friday. I'm sorry but if you need help asap do not even try this place. Obviously the list is really long to get in and if you do not have insurance its 160 to start. Good luck.

My husband finally got in after a month of trying and finally contacting Eskenazi themselves. So far it has been a great thing. Not crazy about the fact they don't accept his insurance and having to come up with the money every week but I guess it's better than before.

I never thought unwound be able to get clean but this place did it all. From the counseling, to them monitoring ur health, to my favorite art class. They have other classes as well for all kinds of needs grieving, writting, and classes u have to go to if u want take homes that will teach u how to deal with the outside world and ur self. If u need helping would recommend here. They saved my life and my familys life.

I've been to both ITC and Midtown. By far this is the place to be if you're ready to get sober. I love my counselor and the people here. While they are strict it's only because they want to help people and if you're just gonna jerk them off there is plenty of people waiting to get in here and change their life. Major shout out to Rebecca! You're the best! If taken seriously methadone maintainence is a solid road to recovery.

This is also for Stephanie you don't have to be in withdraw they would prefer you to be for safety reasons because you would be mixing methadone with whatever you have used that day but they also know that withdraw is painful and if you're there in the first place you want help and that's what they're there for. This is not so much a review, I will do that later ....this is to reply to Heather Stewart's question ...you have probably already figured this out by now but they're not going to turn you down. you are going there for help and they expect you to be dirty. you just have to be free of substance the day that you go in there.... they want you to be clean for like 2 days I think and in withdrawal so they can see how sick you are but really they're not going to know the last time you used

Everything about this place, as compared to Indianapolis Treatment Ceneter, is amazing! There literally are NO waits or lines to medicate--- You simply walk up to the medication window directly and if you do not have a group to go to or counseling session, if you are just there to medicate-- You are literally without exagerration--in and out and medication within 4 -5 minutes and back on the road again headed home! It's almost impossible to believeI know, for those of us of whom transferred from ITC to Midtown. At ITC there is ALWAYS at LEAST a 45 minute line to wait in prior to medication every day and at Midtown... no ait at all... Also, the people here are polite and actually care FOR REAL about getting CLEAN and so on, as opposed to the dealers in the parking lot at ITC...... HOWEVER, the fact that you are not allowed any prescriptions for legit conditions if they are narcotic (such as benzos and amphetamines) is understandable in a sense , yet I believe it is unfair to those of whom have SEVERE mental illness of which on stimulants and/or benzos work/treat well. If Midtown allowed RXs for outside narcotic meds to people who need them I would give this place a 5 stars, but instead they get 4. Either way- If you are simply an Opiate addict and do not have any narcotic prescriptions--- DO NOT GO TO ITC--COME HERE TO MIDTOWN and save time, money, and avoid drama (lol)! The only reason to pick ITC over Midtown is if you use Adderall or Xanax, really or if you drink a lot. Either way, I love this place and you will too as long as you are 110% serious about getting CLEAN and sober FOR REAL and can follow rules. If you wish to still use non-opiate narcotics and want Anarchy and freedom to pretty much do as you wish and dont mind standing in line with Smelly McGee and his brother Billy-Bob Stankass for over an hour every day just to medicate than ITC is the place for you. If you want a clean, safe, stable, friendly, legit,mature, facility with NO lines or waits to medicate then Midtown is your calling.

It's actually better then ITC cause of the lines but that's where it ends methadone I think is worse then whatever your on now I feel this way cause it takes 5 to 10 years to tamper off methadone the right way and if you just try going through the pain it take 2 months or more withdrawal and they always tell you your not going from the drug to another that's a lie you are but a drug with a lot of their rules !!! Think long and hard before ever coming here !!!
