I had a horrible experience at Leyden PSR Aftercare. Very unprofessional with how Jennifer Hamiltion, Colleen Martinez, Dorothy Duda just basically all the staff etc. Jennifer Hamilton is very rude and she does not know how to interact with people she claims to care but honestly sitting down with her 1 on 1 was not helpful she suspended me from the PSR program for 6 months then just kicking me out for no reason at all. I don\'t get how Leyden is still open. Dr.Goldberg needs help himself.

Where do I start???. Erin the child therapists needs therapy herself. She would constantly space out and have a crazy look in her eyes. Shs was not proffesional she threatened me and a doctor from another hospital told me to get rid of her because she was out of her mind. The psychiatrist was another loon that would talk to herself and she smelled awful. Lastly the receptionists love to gossip instead of doing their job. Avoid this place. Run somewhere else.

By myself have dealt with similar issues as the last comment left. I was accused of missing appointments many appointments. I have a disability rating disease which I was being treated with some nasty medicine at the time. I missed therapist meetings. Upon the therapist idea, he said we should have phone consultations when I\'m not feeling good. The problem is I never had much warning until that morning. And he knew it I believe he do this to me because he knew this happened to me. One day I went in for an appointment. He told me I missed like 4. Realizing, later in the week that those were phone appointments that he came up with the idea we should do since I had this disease to talk to me and check in with me to be sure I was okay. I am positive my insurance was billed for this session as a therapist session. I believe he just forgot. Well, after I went in one time he accused me of being late. I showed him in my phone the time I had saved. I mean, I may have needed help at the time. However, I\'m not an idiot either. Well I got a phone call. He told me if I want to come back it was his mistake he corrected the error. That I did not in fact, I miss all these appointments. In the meantime he took off my psychiatrist time that I waited months for and told me I\'d have to start all over. Is that possibly a way to get so many therapy sessions out of you before you see a psychiatrist. Quite possibly medication helping will you don\'t need him as much? He repeatedly called me and Left 4 messages stating it was his fault. When I try to make an appointment, I was told I could not come back because of lack of no-shows. I paid for the 2 in full for to the night legitimately missed. Spoke to two coordinators who had to have a conference call with me. And I hit explain to them the situation and how sorry I was. And still told I could not come back. I don\'t understand personally, how a state-funded operation can have this happened to you where you are denied services. There are no other places to go. Options are limited when you are on public aid which that is why I have the disability rating disease. I am 56 years old and I have always had a good handle on things. I lost a family member and been grieving terribly. I do not know why this ever happened to me. And they seem to always find a way where they have to backup your psychiatrist appointment with dr. Crouch. This therapist called in and made it was his fault. But when I want to come back in a couple weeks once I was over the initial anger of the whole situation. And the therapist calling my phone for times and apologizing to me. It\'s just a shame that could happen to people with our limited resources in this area on this type of insurance. It\'s a wonder, most generally I would figure people who are on public aid have more problems than the people who don\'t because the people who are have more stressed out situations that they may need help with. I just think that is really unfair practice and that the state allows it to go on. I wish to God I was treated as nicely as some of these people say. I think I just had a therapist who had possibly too many patients and had me confused.

So unprofessional!! I waited two weeks for my appointment, just to come in and be told they made a mistake with scheduling and that I had no appointment. Tatiana the front desk girl was so rude she literally laughed at the situation!! Do not come here!!

Just because you say you want to speak to a supervisor because you haven\'t got a call back in over a week and need help does not mean it is a threat. How horrible is that? I \"threatened\" you because I said I was going to speak to your supervisor.

Lied about their wait list to get me in. Lied about how many visits I needed to see an actual doctor. Lied about the time between needed # of visits and seeing a doctor. Once I saw a doctor, she (Dr. Couch) wouldn\'t let me explain why I was there, wouldn\'t listen to my complaints about my meds. Told me the meds were fine but that I was just not smart enough to know they were working. When I called, once I found out the doctor had lowered my meds instead of changing them, the receptionist refused to speak with me and refused to help. This place prayes on poor people, because they know we have no recourse. If you are thinking of going here, don\'t. Wait the several months and see a real doctor (they are going to make you wait anyway). They should be ashamed to lie and take advantage of people who have so few options.
