honestly I loved my counselor there her name is Stephanie but because I missed three appointments in the past five months because I honestly forgot I now have to look for a new counselor the sad part is she was honestly helping me I was making progress I was feeling a lot better and now I have to find someone else when it took me this long to find someone that actually connected with to help me understand my borderline personality disorder so if you want to go to Acacia Wellness Center just know you missed three appointments as a human being you forget make mistakes you think it's one day and it's another day and you honestly forgot they will refer you out no ifs ands or buts about it so before you make progress and find someone you connect with just know that it can be taken away from you in a second and all that progress you made went down the drain because you can't continue but the same progress because the new person doesn't know where to begin and where you left off because you have to be referred out there's no compassion or forgiveness for people who honestly don't remember and they have you sign a contract telling you what the rules are me being dyslexic because I have a hard time reading I have a learning disability.

If I'm being honest this clinic saved my life. Collaborative care is paramount to their services and without it I would not be where I am. If your looking for an office where counselling and medical care is in one place (hint- who isn't looking for that?!) and your doctors and counselors collaborate on your health and needs- this is the place to be. The best part, however, is obviously the service dogs in the waiting room. Nothing makes the anxiety of doctor visits melt away like a labradoodle. Thank you acacia for all you do!

Nice people but with my current rx I have had no success in getting my refill. My pharmacy has submitted 2 requests ,and I have called numerous times for about 5 days. They haven't called the RX in nor have they contacted me. Very unprofessional. My rx is one that has side effects if stopped abruptly. I'm extremely unhappy about this

This establishment after being see by Mrs. Peppersack for ,8 years with no issues. And with Mrs Peppersack taking the responsibilities of being my primary care provider which involved her prescribing medication from other Doctors and medications badly needed for my medical condition. She chose to make a scenerio where i was made to look very mentally ill. This was partly due because one of her employees reminded me iof my primary abuser, and Mrs Peppersack demanded i go see her anyway. When in fact i needed to see her for a med check. So after all this time she chose to say her office returned my numerous phone calls about the situation. Mrs Peppersack has created severe emotional trauma and physical problems for me due to this unwarrented and on my part totally not understood. Suddenly after all this time i am such a bad person. I pray Mrs Peppersack never gets the opportunity to harm another client as she has done myself.

About three months later Deo was replaced by student intern nurse practitioners, who honestly have been of no help. It seems any concern I have is smoothed over and my input ignored. My concerns are not validated. I have been rushed during appointments by frazzled interns who can’t hide their disdain for my problems. I have been made to feel like a drug addict when asking for medications that work. I feel unimportant because my calls NEVER get returned and I have to call numerous times and it will be days before I get a return call. When the intern does call she doesn’t remember who I am. The Intern has told me that there’s nothing more else they can do for my anxiety, but she increases a dose of a medication that I’m already at the highest dose on. The intern can not prescribe and has to ask Deo, so she will have no answer for you at the time of visit, so you go in for 5 minutes for nothing… literally. It is not a safe and welcoming place. Acacia Wellness says on their website that they they “acknowledge the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs of each client”. That is pretty bold statement considering the lack of compassion and their unwillingness to try and think outside of the box to treat someone. Overall, I feel you should not make Acacia Wellness your first choice and explore other providers first. Your treatment should be taken seriously.
