I denied that i had a problem for years until it started to catch up with me at home, work, and health wise. I knew that something had to give or i was going to lose everything. What i can tell you is that the program at Serenity house WORKS! The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating and the therapy they provide is outstanding. If you are thinking you may have a problem and need help i strongly encourage you to reach out to Serenity House for help. An added plus, they have a chef to cook all your meals and beds were even more comfortable than the one i have at home.

After 5 days my insurance ran out and they gave me 20 minutes to pack my stuff. The owners are heartless, Lisa and Reshila are blatant liars. They called my poor Mother that same day demanding money.and an employee by the name of Trey said that I should "stop abusing the system". They will get shut down very soon and they know it. That's why they're so greedy. DO NOT GO OR SEND ANYONE HERE!

I was contacted by this facility from a representative from the Philippines asking if I was interested in treatment. The rep then then routed me to Serenity House call center in West Palm Beach. When asked how they received my information the representative refused to answer. These types of marketing tactics are highly illegal. This incident was reported to Joint Commission Accreditation. I will gladly follow this up and make sure that these types of marketing schemes do not continue. This is a great example of why the treatment industry gets such a bad name. I PERSONALLY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE ATTEND TREATMENT OR DETOX IN A PLACE THAT IS SO DESPERATE TO GET CLIENTS THAT THEY OUTSOURCE LEADS FROM PHILIPPINES. THIS IS BAD MEDICINE.

My credit is ruined from serenity house. Apparently when your intoxicated entering the detox you sign your life away. I can’t reach anyone concerning this matter. I have a massive collection on my credit report. The company this so called debt was sold to has been reported to the BBB over 450 times! This debt is invalid and they are money hungry to put this burden on me. I was fully insured at that time. I plan on reporting this to the consumer finance protection bureau.

Don’t go here! They bill for co-insurance and anything that the insurance doesn’t pay for they sell off to a collection agency! I fortunately have maintained sobriety and have been blessed to move forward in life, recently when a credit check was ran to purchase a house I was denied due to a nearly 8 thousand dollar bill from serenity house detox sold to national credit systems. I haven’t had any success reaching anyone or having my phone calls returned after leaving messages. I have even sent in certified mail with a send receipt that I have had no response too in over a month from the debt collection agency trying to dispute this matter with no avail. Very disappointed that a practice like this is being used to put the already downtrodden clients in a worse position later financially. We all know this is a business but when does it become greed.

While the place is very nice if I had known that they were going to stick me with a over 12,000$ collection on my credit report I would've never went here, Everytime I try to call and get in contact with kiara or Moises no one returns my phone calls after several attempts, all I'm trying to do is get this issue solved because I can't even get a car loan now because of this bogus collection put on my credit report...horrible business practice.

I'm giving two stars because when I was there a year and a half ago most of the staff were amazing especially in the lauderhill location. However, now that I have changed my life around for the better it seems as the they are attempting to bring me down. They sent two very large bills into collections that have been paid in full by my insurance. And now they are effecting my credit and preventing me from receiving a loan for a car. I called them multiple times and received no answers. The first time they told me to call back on a Monday when I called back on Monday i left a message because no one answered me I called again and they stated someone would call me back and they never did I've called back again and left more messages and i still get no answers!! I'm aware most of these facilities in Florida do insurance scams and now I'm scared that there trying to scam me out of money !! Not cool when youve done a 180 in your life. Update 1/23 I have called numerous times after I originally posted this, have left at least 8 voicemails these people are just ignoring me at this point ! I have records from my insurance proving this was paid in full. Serenity house you are theifs cheats and liars !

After telling him he could stay the weekend then go to an IOP on monday, the "head of corporate clinical" discharged my son to a gas station on Saturday. They said he was "non compliant" even though he asked to stay for the weekend. They said "good luck to you" slammed the door and drove away. My son died of an overdose on Sunday. These people have no capacity to deal with the mental illness that goes with addiction and active use. They need to be held accountable for running their business this way. Detox is not a "tough love" environment. I spoke with the clinical director at length about my son's deteriorated mental state. She said she would help. "Corporate" overrode her decision. No more money to be made on my son. It is my belief this place played an active role in my son's death.

Was there in october of 2016. Worse experience of my life... men fighting women, saw the Dr. For a total of 10 minutes out of 9 days.i couldnt handle the stress and the young patients glorifying how many times they've od'd and what sober living has the best dope dealers near by. The place was appalling. So I signed myself out against medical advice, and they fudged the paperwork so they could charge my insurance. Sounds like I need to report then to JCAHO... I wouldnt recomend sending anyone there.

At first glance, it seemed like a great place...they have all the amenities you could ask for, but as time went on I was treated worse and worse. I was essentially shamed for my anxiety. When the time came for me to discharge, I wasn't done detoxing from alcohol. I still had sweats, woke up and my bed was drenched, and panic attacks. They refused to keep me another night to help me through my withdrawal. When I asked them, instead, to be taken to the hospital, they told me no. They said I could go to the rehab they wanted me to go to, or they would drop me off at the gas station. I ended up having to walk 7 miles to the hospital while detoxing from alcohol. I even asked them to just give me my stuff and call 911 and they refused. They told me it was either the gas station or where they wanted me to go.
