I sincerely hope you never find yourself in my situation where this is your only hope to get the medications you need. I work for a nonprofit so I making no money, I have crappy insurance and this is the only place I could find to take me. But I almost wish I had chosen not to go and dealt with it in a different way. I never saw the same doctor twice because they all kept leaving except for this last doctor, who was very unpleasant. Multiple times I had my appointment rescheduled unexpectedly to a time where I could not go and then they wouldn’t refill my medications without seeing me but couldn’t see me for months at a time so I would have to go months without medication. All the while suffering terrible withdrawal effects. Trying to get anyone on the phone is impossible. Trying to reach the operator, the phone rings and rings and then hangs up on you. Trying to make an appointment even more impossible. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt over months and months of treatment, but in the end this is the worst clinic I’ve ever gone to. I hope this is helpful and you’re able to find a clinic that will be able to help you more than this one can.

Do not go here they treat people like animals and prisoners! Benette, Sharon, Maggie, Lorna, and the nurse Danielle are horrible people with no compassion and so rude! The food is horrible. You get no help, no therapy, and the psychiatrist Walker is so awful supposedly the other one is worse! The social worker Christina is also a cold human being who chose the wrong profession. The only people who actually gave a damn were June, Janice (intake nurse), Reggie, Winsome (nurse) and Georgette. If you're feeling depress and need help go any where else but here unless you want to have more issues! They belittle people and are so cold. Thanks to them I want to become a social worker so I can help people that needs help. These people shouldn't even be hired at McDonald's, let alone working with people who need compassion and mental health care! This place either needs to train their staff better, fire most of them or just shut down. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy! If you're depress, suicidal or have any mental health issues please I beg u never to go here bc you'll be left with more issues. Not to mention they will try to convince you you're a druggie and an addict when you're not. This place has given me the motivation to prove them wrong and help ppl bc nobody should be treated like they are treated here!

Had a friend there. I think they do the best they can. Although they tried my friend came home talking looking good. Although she lost some of her Joy. It's good she was off the streets, but now she's picked up where she left off. Sad situation, but can't blame them for her personal decisions.

RUN, RUN-and run fast. This place is like a jail cell absolutely horrible. The right hand has no clue what the left hand is doing and Janice the administer that missions lady on my god what a joke. This place should definitely without a doubt be shut down tomorrow. They were giving my daughter seraquil sleep medicine at seven in the morning, took five days to get her luggage and personal belongings that actually she never got until she left the facility after the fifth day. The detox room in dark and dreary with jail cell doors and no Clock. The food is absolutely nasty and I wouldn’t even give it to my dogs. They never checked on my daughter they just left her there in the room. Upon leaving they weren’t going to give her the birth certificate, cigarettes or one of her personal bags. When you don’t see pictures of a facility there’s a reason. It’s primarily African-American with maybe one Caucasian person attending and or working there. By the way it’s primarily a mental institution versus a substance-abuse rehabilitation center. Once you sign yourself in voluntarily you need to be signed out by a physician remember that if you love your loved one don’t send them there one from my mistakes!

This place basically kidnapped me and abused me! I came initially just asking for an appointment with a psychologist as I cannot afford one. They tried to convince me to stay 3 days there if I wanted to see someone quickly, because they said they were booked months ahead of time. I kept saying I wanted to see someone in the next 3 weeks but that I refused to live there for 3 days to see a therapist!. They basically baker acted me, on the basis that I was a danger to myself for making bad decisions, simply because I told them I was going to visit a prospect partner in a different state without doing a background check on them. They were basically trying to find any good reason to lock me in their facility so they can ask money from the state. The organization is supposedly a non profit and they claim poverty, so they get money from the state for each person. They baker act everyone they can if we don't agree to live in there, then they lock us in there for 3 days, and hopefully longer, feed us disgusting food, and the worst of all: there is NO THERAPIST! we are basically in a jail without any therapy or care. Just a psychiatrist who spends 5min in the morning and tries hard to medicate anyone so they can stay there under drug and veggetable state as long as possible. THE WHOLE PLACE IS EVIL. I have severe traumas from the experience and I will report them to the newspapers and the health department. I was under duress basically, because the social worker told me that if I didn't walk voluntarily with her into the mental locked up unit, she would get the cops to force me in there like a prisoneer. While they are the criminals! no one has the right to kidnap me against my will at 40 years old!

We need to start realizing how many people in this world have mental health issues and need help. If we are to make our world a better place to live in we have to let go of the stigma of mental health and help these people turn their lives around and live meaningful lives. Well i really feel like they are there for nothing because they really don't help the patients they think there better then the patients they don't ask the patients the right questions to show there concerned and i feel the place should be ran by better people. When a patient first come in to the unit don't give them just anything to eat but the food they have for dinner and lunch be much better. But please don't look at the patients like there just some peace of trash. And i notice when i have a haircut and dress nice they say the doctor is not there. And then they tell a lie and say they called my phone. And plus i feel like the staff do evilness and i no im right.

These people below have very high expectations apparently. It's not as bad as they are making it out to be. Yes it is crowded, esp in the mornings and early afternoons, but late afternoons it's a ghost town. If you're patient and you know you're not going to a 5 star medical facility, then it's completely fine. It's actually helped me going from having insurance for years to none at all, and I'm still able to get the med I was taking before for $15 versus hundreds! Just don't go in there with expectations, it's a free clinic!!!! Ms. Shelly Shoup (in the therapy office) and Dr. Mueller are the kindest ladies there! :) All these negative reviews must be from people who stayed in the lockdown side because what I experienced was nothing like these stories.

The staff is very aggressive and confrontational. If they don't like you they will see to it thst they leep you drugged up and write false reports to keep you in there. Hippa law is violated and so are human rights. No different then being in jail. With techs that are miserable and full of anger. This place is a joke and peoples lives are at risk.
