I tried to detox off zanax for 2 days at home but decided to go to detox at psl hospital. When i got there everyone knew i had a flight to ct on Tues the first of November. I remained there for Saturday October 29th. I brought my prescriptions in and told them i left my amytriptaline at home. I informed them I was denied this medication that could have been verified by my primary Dr therefore not receiving that medicaton for 3 nights which did not help my situation. I was told i could not leave.i was told several times that a dr would see me at 2pm. Your staff continued to lie to me for the rest of the day. The dr came in he did not communicate with me till the end of the day. He finally spoke to me at the end of the day telling me they will discharge me after midnight. I feel it was a insurance scam to get another day of payment. They finally discharged me at 1 in the morning saying you can make your trip to the airport at 4am. I was in no condition to drive to palm beach after being on medication for 2 days because I only had 3 hours to get there. I would have to leave at 4 am. I could not leave in 3 hours especially after taking adavan. not going and had to cancel my flight to see my sister in Ct. I understanding that I could leave at any time. I was continuously lied to by yourb 2nd shift staff. There was a office employee in that told me she would get my phone to prove I was leaving for Ct. She left and never came back. What kind of detox facility discharges a patient at 1 am. I am going to pursue with a investigation into your policies and i will contact my insurance company to investigate this as well. I have never been to a detox facility. I lost track of my alprazolam and could not refill my prescription therefore putting me in the position to be treated this way.
