I think that my boyfriend is using PCP, but I’m not sure what to look for, what the drug looks like, or where it even comes from. Can I get some information on this?

PCP is a synthetic dissociative anesthetic. This means that all of its ingredients are made in a lab, and it makes people feel disconnected from reality. It can come in pills, powders, and even liquids, so it’s very difficult to identify. The behavior is pretty identifiable, though. Most people who take PCP will be completely out of it and unable to understand what’s going on in the world around them.

If your boyfriend is using PCP, then you may be in an unsafe situation. Consider finding another place to stay until you know for sure and speaking to him about it honestly when you know that he’s not on any drugs. If you run across any powders, pills, or unidentified liquids, make sure that you’re not being exposed with skin to skin contact, and take it to the nearest police station. They can test it and tell you exactly what it is.
