I work in recovery and I think my co-worker is taking cocaine. Cocaine hasnt ever been my thing and I dont know if Im being paranoid or what is happening.

Okay not to be rude but someone could take cocaine I suppose but the proper terminology for this would be someone is doing cocaine. You might notice a loss in appetite and unexplained weight loss. For crack cocaine you might see burn marks on the hand and lips where the pipe is being held and smoked from.

Is the person you are wondering about constantly fiddling with his or her nose and do they have a spike in energy followed by a crash then the cycle repeats itself? Also, you might find that tempers are increased and paranoia sets in. If your co-worker is leaving to step outside frequently during the day and coming back in with high energy and talkative, it could be due to cocaine use.
