How do people abuse Xanax?

Stopped at Mcdonalds on the way home, I went inside which is not normal for me to do. Standing in line I overheard two teenagers whispering about how they are going to get f**d up on xanax. I know what xanax is but I dont know how people abuse it. Does anyone have pointers for me?

I'm not sure why they do it but Xanax can be abused by taking multiple pills, crushing it so that it can be snorted, injecting it, and combining it with other drugs and alcohol.
