Where are all of my medications going? Is it my son? Could he be taking them from me? Is it likely that he is and if he is, is he taking other drugs to?

more teenagers are robbing their parents’ medicine cabinets than ever. The best course of action is to have an honest discussion with him and ask him if he’s the one that’s been taking them. He may not answer you or he may attempt to lie. At this point, you can try using an at home drug test to see whether or not he tests positive for any of the substances you’re missing.

You’ll need to start keeping any and all medications in the house under lock and key and making sure to properly dispose of any leftover pills once the prescription is no longer needed. It can be a huge help to bring in an outside party who knows more about the subject than you do. Watch for signs of intoxication such as restricted pupils, slurred speech, excessive sleeping, secretive behavior, and even illegal behaviors.
