How can I qualify for a scholarship to an inpatient facility?

I currently reside in San Diego. When my divorce finalized 2 yrs ago I was told to pack my belongings because the facility I was at was no longer going to keep me because I lost my insurance. I have wanted desperately to get back into treatment outside of San Diego county due to old people, places and things etc. I have heard that there are scholarships available for individuals without regular insurance. Is there a way to find out which facility’s would have this option available that I can reach out to and contact for further information?
