How addicting is methamphetamine?

Worried about a friend who tried methamphetamine about a week ago, she told me about it and ever since hasn’t acted the same as usual. I hear a lot of horrible things about methamphetamine, but want to know if its likely that she got addicted to it after the first time she used it.

I really feel that most people that do drugs like methamphetamine have an addictive personality starting off, or they wouldn’t do meth. Meth is so addicting and I don’t feel that there is anyway around not getting addicted to it if you do it.
