Can you overdose on vicodin

I know that the person I live with takes vicodin. I have not seen the individual- who recently just moved in with me by the way from an ad I posted for roomate needed- in a few days. I know the door is locked and I'm trippin about the person being dead from vicodin overdose.

In every respect of the word yes you can overdose on vicodin just like overdosing on other types of opiates... vicodin in never going to be an excepted to the opiate overdose rule.

Without any question vicodin overdose takes place to way too many people on a regular basis.

The thing that makes me mad is doctors know you can overdose on Vicodin but still write the prescription. In 2011 there were 131 million prescriptions written, unnecessary prescriptions written according to American Addiction Centers. Its insane to me doctors can just hand out a drug to people, knowing they dont really need it and can easily overdose. According to American Addiction Centers, Vicodin is the most prescribed opiate in the United States! It is said 139 million prescriptions were filled in 2010 and that number is on the rise. I bet you most of those prescriptions were drug dealers just handing out pills like candy! I dont get how dealers can hand out prescription pain meds and know someone may overdose. I have even overdosed on Vicodin! Just because it isnt Heroin doesnt mean it isnt dangerous. If youre planning on using Vicodin, please be safe and know how much youre taking. Vicodin is an Opiate and there is a chance you can overdose on it. The scary thing is, a lot of people are selling fake Vicodin which is actually Fentynal. I recommend not taking any drugs but if youre going to do it be sure you know what your taking.
