I was easedropping in on a conversation going on between two people in my geometrics class. They were claiming that a kid one of them knew died from smoking weed.

Smoking weed is not similar to smoking narotics like opioids or meth. Weed, overall, has less impact on a persons body and weed overdose is not something that happeneds.
