Can weed make you aggressive?

Recently we caught our teenage son experimenting with weed. He said he had only tried it a couple of times but who really knows how often or how much he had used up to the point when we caught him. Anyways, over the past couple weeks my husband and I have noticed that our son has been exhibiting some not so normal aggressive behavior. Could this change in his temperament be from smoking pot?

I don't know about aggression but I do think that marijuana could cause irritability.
