Can weed cause birth defects?

I did not know that I was pregnant during the first two months of my pregnancy and I was smoking pot almost daily. As soon as I found out that I was pregnant I quit immediately but I just want to know if my baby is going to have birth defects because of it?

It's always possible but, I doubt you will have any serious complications. I would let your doctor know so they can give you a better answer and take any necessary precautions.
