Can marijuana be harmful?

I hear so many mixed opinions about the benefits of marijuana and the harmful effects of the drug. I'm looking to find out what is harmful about marijuana seeing as it is considering a natural, medicinal drug.

As it goes for the medicinal properties of marijuana I would have to say that getting it from the dispensary is the safer option, because truth be told there is no drug or plant that we get from the "streets" that doesn't have unknown components. That in itself can be dangerous and certainly harmful to your health.
