Can clonazepam cause seizures?

Started my prescription to clonazepam last year. I was only 17 when I started on it and I know that it's a semi heavy drug but its prescribed for severe anxiety and panic disorder. I lowered my dose and aimed to wean myself off but I felt really funny and I think there may be was having minor seizures.

Before overcoming my addiction to benzos which is what clonazepam is, I detoxed myself and during it felt like I had mini seizures. Speaking from personal experience clonazepam can cause seizures.
