I heard that shrooms are natural does that mean they are better for someone to take than drugs like LSD?

The argument of natural or synthetic is quite frightening. Natural things are equally as capable in killing you as synthetic things are.

Mushrooms are natural growing in the ground as we speak. One mushroom im thinking of psliocybe semilanceata, commonly known as the liberty cap as stated on is both one of the most widely distributed mushrooms in nature. But, also one of the most potent. In some states they are legal because they grow naturally, but it is still illegal to posses or be under the influence of them.

Shrooms are natural, they just arent legal. Although I dont know why. Shrooms help the brain synchronizes activity among areas that would not normally be connected. It could be the explanation as to why people say taking shrooms is like being in a dreamy state.

As Noelle answered Not all mushrooms are drugs. We put them on salads and cook them in some dishes. Mushrooms grow from the ground. Shrooms have psilocybe cyanescens in them and that makes them magic mushrooms or shrooms as you put it. But they are still natural. They grow the drug in them it isnt manufactured. She suggests buying mushrooms from the store rather than picking them yourself which I will have to agree with because I do know there are mushrooms out there that are quite dangerous and can kill you.

The liberty cap mushroom grows freely behind my house so ya they are natural. I didnt plant them there. I dont take care of them or anything. I only noticed them because I like they way sometimes the stem will get a purple tint to it. Its my favorite color.
