What do I do when I have no insurance?

I am currently 27 and am not on my parents insurance anymore. I want to get sober sooo bad however it seems I dont have the means to get into treatment. Are there any resources that could help me? I am truly lost and just want a shot at life again.

HI Jacqueline, I would start by seeing if you can get on some type of state insurance. You can also join one the many online community addiction groups and ask for help. I think you've got the right idea by jumping on here and asking the community. You should start searching up facebook groups with LOTS of members in recovery and find professionals in your state that can steer you in the right direction. That being said, please be careful with who you speak to because there are a lot of predators out there.
