How long do percocet withdrawal symptoms last?

A friend is crashing at my pad to withdrawal from percocet. However I am kind of questioning the situation because after two days he was doing fine and I was under the impression that withdrawal from opiates like percocet and not pleasant and the symptoms dont go away over night.

If your friend is fine after two days its probably because he was taking light doses far and few in between.
