New employment as a support staff and a client withdrawaling from crack asked me if desperation how long will this last. All I could say was I dont know it will be over soon youll be okay. Not having the answer made me feel guilty.

Don't feel bad, the most severe symptoms will last about 1 – 2 weeks but as each person and their addiction and bodies are different, it can be hard to tell exactly how long the full withdrawal will take
