Saw my daughter for the first time in five or six years. she popped up at my front door and said she needs to withdrawal from heroin. Currently she is withdrawaling on my living room couch. How long are withdrawals from heroin, generally?

I would advise you to get her medical help as quickly as possible. You can’t be certain what drug she’s withdrawing from, and some of the symptoms can actually be dangerous. Heroin withdrawals usually lasts 7 to 10 days but can go on longer if the person has used for a long time. There’s also the psychological factor that needs to be treated as well.
