Does loperamide help opiate withdrawal?

About to start withdrawal from opiates. Because I have done it before I know that I am going to have serious and uncontrollable bathroom problems, is loperamide something that will help the horrific situation I'm about to be in?

Loperamide helps stop diarrhea which is what im going to assume seripus bathroom problems means. So it can probably help with that symptom associated with opiate withdrawal, however I wouldn’t count on it helping with anything else.
