Do i need alcohol detox?

I picked up the habit of binge drinking toward the end on my mothers go at life. Ever since she passed, I drink like a fish. I need to put down the alcohol and get my life back.

Try not to do it on your own because alcohol withdrawal/detox is known to be vicious and if your body is seriously adapted to the alcohol it could be fatal without adequate detox.
