I keep hearing everyone say that alcohol withdrawal can cause someone to die. And I have done a ton of research yet am unable to find anything about someone actually dying from the withdrawal symptoms of alcohol. So I'm really looking to find out the truth about alcohol withdrawal, if it will cause death and how it causes it.

If anyone stops alcohol consumption after heavy stents of long term use, the withdrawal effects are scary. The effects usually include cardiovascular irregularlities and even seziures. Detoxing from alcohol needs to be done with medical professionals.

There are loads of cases where withdrawaling from alcohol leads to emegerncy room visits from people going into full blown seizure mode. Its odd that you had a hard time finding data on the dangers and fatality of alcohol abuse, during your research because there is significant data on this real and frightening thing. Alcohol fatalities are great in number and happen more often than anyone likes to admit. I believe that alcohol is the most dangerous of drugs in society today.
