How can i help my alcoholic boyfriend?

My boyfriend and I met at a bar (1st warning sign I didnt pay attention to). We have been together for 5 months now and I beginning to realize he has a drinking problem and is more likely than not an alcohol. Looking for some pointers or directions on how I can help my alcoholic boyfriend. I really like him and dont want to break up so I'm trying everything I can to help.

It can be difficult to be in a relationship with an alcoholic and relationships of this nature are nine time out of ten co-dependent. So if you think your relations falls into this type, try setting boundaries and dont try to change him or make excuses for his behavior that you wouldnt otherwise tolerate.
