Will tramadol help with opiate withdrawals?

I need to come off methadone, and someone has recommended tramadol to help with the withdrawal. I’ve failed at coming off it before so I definitely need something!

I took Tramadol when I tried coming off heroin for the third time, and I’ve now stayed clean. It really helped ease the pain and sickness, and then I managed to come off it too. I would highly recommend it.
