Why marijuana is addictive?

People talk about marijuana being a ‘safe drug’. Is that true? I’m pretty sure I know people addicted to it, but what makes it addictive?

I think if you look at it like smoking anything – your body starts to crave it. You like the sensation so you do it again, that’s addictive.
