I got my hands on some tramadol, not exactly legally, but it has done absolute wonders for my back pain, when nothing else seemed to work. How can I make sure I don’t get addicted?

It sounds like you are fairly attached already. I would go to your doctor and be frank about it, see if he can prescribe recommended amounts and stay within that.

Well, you’ve already admitted that you weren’t prescribed it, so that in itself is a problem. It does produce the same kind of feelings as heroin, although not as powerful, so if you’re enjoying that too much or if you’re feeling a kind of withdrawal when you don’t have it, then you need to knock it on the head.
